Vote on which side of the Morgan design you like best - obverse/reverse.
Please post your vote on the first line and skip a line or two if you want to comment.
I will tabulate every day or two. Voting closes 8/10/2020.
If this proves popular, I will pick another series next week.

I wonder if this will even be close. Lady Liberty is OK, but the big eagle is significantly better, in my opinion (and that of my kids).

Obverse is ugly imo with that goofy chin and big ol’ schoz

You forgot the third side... the edge. That gets my vote.
Obverse
I thought it was going to be for or against Morgan Dollars. ( I was going to be against)
Reverse.
If you're going to do more of these, you might want to create the thread as a poll. Not sure if you can convert this one.

Neither side but the reverse is better than the obverse.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Absolutely the reverse - too bad most shun the reverse.
Will be interesting how this plays out - so far I see I am not alone.

As expected, Reverse will win the poll in a landslide.
Reverse.... and if you add the CC, that makes it best for me... Cheers, RickO
I choose the obverse. Originally, I couldn’t stand that chunky lady with the fat cheeks. Now, I sort of like the old girl. Seems like every coin has an eagle on the reverse, so they are kind of commonplace.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Morgan is not bad, but I prefer either side of a Walker to either of the sides of the Morgan.
My strategy is about collecting what I intend to keep, not investing in what I plan to sell.

I agree.
The reverse. They had too much time on their hands with the hair designs back in the day.

Obverse. It is the classic face of numismatics.
back up da truck!
I prefer the reverse but mostly because obverse flaws are always so prominent and off-putting.
But I'm not a Morgan fan so don't give my opinion much weight.
Lance.
Obverse by a hair
Have you ever seen the painting of the lady who poised for the obverse? She's quite attractive. I'm so happy that the Morgan haters got to get a few digs in about the most popular coins collected. I like a great many coin designs and Morgans are just one of them. I like the Obv and Rev equally but for different reasons.

You piqued my curiosity! A lady by the name of Anna Willess Williams:
The reverse is more attractive.
No offense to those that love it but that would be like me choosing a side of the Ike that I like.
Or the Susan B.
Or the Gold Martha.....
I rank them equally desirable/undesirable.
My least favorite side is the edge. I never cared for reeded edges. Bring back ornate lettering!
Obviously the obverse because (almost) everyone likes Ike... Going by electoral college hardly anyone cared for Stevenson.
In that era, she was considered to be a classic beauty and that was what George Morgan was trying to capture for Ms. Liberty. Thanks for posting that image Coinjunkie!

My pleasure. I agree she was a lovely woman.
I'd grade her MS66
