I really enjoyed the favorite card thread, thought it would be fun to see everyone's favorite autograph. I grew up a huge fan of Kareem Abdul Jabbar, as a teenager I thought there would be nothing greater than owning a Lew Alcindor autograph. A few years ago at the National I found one that I just couldn't pass up. It's a 7x9 photo of Big Lew and one of his UCLA classmates, personalized and signed in black grease pencil. It's as bold and clear an Alcindor autograph as I've found. The photo is faded from years of sunlight, but I love it.

The signature on this piece is so beautiful and well placed that it almost looks like it’s a facsimile. Between that and the rather unique portraiture of my favorite player to collect, I just couldn’t pass up on it. Needless to say, I was very happy when PSA gave the signature a 10; it is always nice when the experts agree with you. The underlying collectible itself is pretty scarce, too, and very condition sensitive as these are on a super thin stock.

Not just this one in particular, but any of his autos with the #15 inscription. There's an 18-month window max when these could have been signed , including his call up in late 1986 and full rookie season in 1987. When Stillwell was traded before the 1988 season, he switched to #11 (and rarely inscribed his uni number after that along with a significant change in his signature).
Hard for me to choose just one, but this one is up there pretty high for me. Paid a pretty price to get it signed a few years ago at one of his last public signings, but getting the opportunity to meet him and say "hi" to an all-time great was worth it. 16x20
A non-sports autograph, but still my very favorite! The original recipient and I share the same first name making it all the more awesome!
Wrestling - Danielson - Storm - Tajiri
Back of a TGIFridays placemat - it looks much better in person, without the big ugly reflection of me and my camera

I have 2 that is tied for my favorite. I can post this 2001 Topps Traded Albert Pujols now. I will have to wait until I get home to post my 1986 Sports Illustrated cover signed by Michael Jordan. It is authenticated and witnessed by Upper Deck.

Not the best looking card, but my favorite single signed item.
Just a favorite. I have several and they change regularly. Lol
Of course... I love the black on this card

Wow! Those are impressive, I love that Jordan photo
Wish I could post mine. It's a proset tom Landry card from the super bowl sets they did. I got it autoed in person back in the 90s. I sent it off on the last group sub to PSA to get authenticated and slabbed. I was Leary of sending it off anyways because it's very special to me. With everything going on, reality has set in that I may not see it again for a year.
Here is my SI cover that I promised.

As of right now, this is my favorite auto...
but when this arrives in the mail tomorrow and I get a custom card made by @alifaxwa2 then this will be my favorite:

Some beautiful heavy hitters in the last few posts!
Not heavy hitters, however really like the duel graded
Always one for mixing it up! This was purchased while I was in college shortly after the comic was released. Bought of an old bulletin board system that required me to mail a money order before receiving the signed comic.

This is another item that I am proud to have in my collection. One cool thing about the 1961 Manny’s photo is it is actually a shot of Mickey in early 1951 as evidenced by the 6 on his back. The signature is clean and beautiful and while I don’t know that it will last forever it is at the moment the highest graded example of the select few 1961 Manny’s that have been submitted since they were made eligible for grading through the Jumbo holder. While it looks like it is a 6 or possibly a 7, the grade is 100% accurate; the squiggle above the bat center is a small crease.

More great stuff! The Mantle/Robinson photo is really nice.
Here's another favorite of mine. This is one of my favorite cards, always wanted to find an autographed copy but never saw a good one come up for sale. I finally decided to just get it done myself, I went and had Bradshaw sign it first, in person at a show in NJ. Then I sent the card to a Staubach private signing in Texas. It was on the top of my want list for a long time, I love having it finished now.

Pulled from a pack myself back in 1995, just slabbed recently
As a Frank Thomas collector, his earliest autographs are much more visually appealing, so that's where my focus lies. Since as far back as his freshman year at Auburn in the spring of 1987, Frank has inscribed many items with his generally associated "35" jersey number; however, there are a few instances in which he didn't wear 35. For example, during his MLB debut and subsequent road stretch before his first home game, he wore #15 for the Sox. I dream of one day finding a period correct autograph with a "15" inscription.
Here are a few of my favorites with inscription:
Early "35"
Summer of '87 Team USA in which he could play only a handful of games due to his commitments at Auburn as tightend and the unusual "36"
Post '89 Draft Sarasota White Sox autograph, with whom he played 55 games wearing number "30"
Great Thomas autographs.
Some seriously awesome stuff in here. My favorites would be my two Orson Welles autographs but apparently I don't have them scanned so I'll go with this.

So much goodness in this thread.
This one, I got in person and its probably one of the cleanest Jeter autographs I have seen. I sent it to PSA shortly after.

This 1978 Bluefield Orioles team signed program contains a 17 year old Cal Ripken Jr. & was signed less than 10 into his professional career
I'm not really much of a collector of modern players, but I was fortunate enough to meet Travis Kelce last year. He signed numerous items for me and specifically asked where on the card to sign and with what color sharpie. It was an awesome experience and he is one of the coolest people I've ever met.
This one is my favorite of the lot. It is a 1/1 Flawless with a diamond in the card. He also signed 5 other 1/1 cards for me that I was surprised to be able to purchase on eBay for such reasonable prices prior to getting them signed. I grew up as a Bills fan, but I was for sure cheering for the Chiefs to win it all last season.
I’m bored so here’s another of my favorites
