Case Keenum is a very good man -- i know this for a fact as he's from my hometown -- but i'll be damned, he's on pace to play for every team in the NFL before he hangs it up
I'll never forget seeing his play in the preseason a few years ago for the Vikings. Thought he looked very good at QB. Injuries made him the starter that year and he still looked very good.
I wanted the Vikings to keep him as the starter and build the team around him, but they decided to go after Cousins.
It really hasn't worked out like they wanted here, and I still wonder how things would have worked out had the kept Keenum.
Here's wishing Case good luck! 18 million with 10 million guaranteed.........NICE!
I blame it all on his girlfriend. You just know that she picked out their new home and all of the upkeep is taking its toll on him.

I guess the Panthers are finally calling it quits on Mrs. Newton. I sure won't miss seeing those pretty Sunday wardrobes that Mrs. Newton used to wear. Don't forget your purse when you leave.
I live in North Carolina and must admit, I would be glad to see Cam go elsewhere. His whining and poor play has just increased over the years, not to mention his attitude off the field.

edit: BB isn't going to sign any noteworthy free agents not when's likely looking at potential compensatory picks in 2021 with the departures of Brady,Van Noy,Collins & Shelton. Brady should net them a high 3rd and Van Noy/Collins likely two fourths.

Trae Waynes signed with the Bengals, three years for about 14 million per year. 20 million in the first year! Seems a little high to me. He was rated in 2019 by Pro Football Focus as the NFL’s No. 46 cornerback out of 113.

What's wrong with Flacco? He would be Ok until you get a better option or draft someone and get him ready.
Hell No,that guy had one good playoff run and that was a longtime ago. I'd rather see NE just start the kid they drafted a year ago instead,Jarrett Stidham. They'll likely need to bring in another QB but whoever it is will have to be on the cheap because there isn't much cap space.

He is pretty old. Never heard of the Stidham guy, is he supposed to be good?
I didn't see any of his college games but he did play pretty well during the preseason but take that for what it's worth. Brady got pulled from a game that the Pats were up big and this kid threw a pick 6 on his first or second pass which was basically his only action all season as the backup. I'm not worried about one pass and he did have a year to learn the Pats system so we'll see.

Honestly as a Pats fan I'm ok with them falling pack to the pack for however long it might be after this great run they just had. As for your second question,No i don't regret that they dealt JG at all,not after Brady led them to two SBs since that trade was made.

So Brady is going to Tampa ... Good for him.
One of the factors that drove him from New England was that fact that he had one reliable receiver to throw to ... Julian Edelman, and I think that Julian was playing injured at the end of the season. Brady had no deep threats to throw to, and the New England management didn’t seem to care.
I hope Brady does okay here. If he had anything left in the tank, he will be better than Jamis Winston who lead the world in turnovers.
