Used to collect Cal Ripken. Gave up after all of the variations and
Auto/ patch/ bat cards started. The Tek cards really were to much
for me. Since Y2K maybe 10 cards. I don't know what I'm going to
do with the collection, especially since graded cards rule.
Jose Canseco has always been my guy since I was a kid. I was just impressed by him on the field during his tenure with Oakland. I felt that after he went to the Rangers, he still put up good numbers but was plagued with injuries. But I have a ton of his cards throughout his whole career. Hundreds of doubles on many. I also collect sealed cello packs, racks packs, single packs with him showing on top. Things like that. But yeah, that's my dude.
Haven't been as active as I use to be when collecting but because I have a lot already and it's harder for me to find something that is currently on eBay that I don't have.
"Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance, you see, and that bell rings and I'm still standin', I'm gonna know for the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood."
Primary PC is Red Sox players.
Clemens is the primary player I collect with Nomar 2nd. Thinking of collecting a newer player from the 2010 range forward.
