Just opened a bunch of retail from target and walmart. Got next to nothing out of 6 hanger boxes and 8 fat packs (all that was left on the shelves). No autos, no relics, no action sp, no Trout, Acuna, Soto, Torres Base even. The best cards I got were a Tatis SP and 2 silver inserts (C.Seager & Kimbrel). If anyone is interested in buying the contents of my break minus a few for my personal collection, just PM me. I can send info and make me a fair offer and they're yours.

    What I Collect:

PSA HOF Baseball Postwar Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 80.51% Complete)

PSA Pro Football HOF Rookie Players Set Registry- (Currently 19.80% Complete)

PSA Basketball HOF Players Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 6.02% Complete)

Not looking to build the SP set, so these are available for trade as a whole. I collect Greg Maddux and Hank Aaron, so something along those lines would be what I am looking for.

    SP's: 413, 454, 465, 467, 479, 482, 486, 500.

In the midst of it all I didn't even open up my 1971 buybak pack. Pulled a "high number", 6th series checklist with the copyright missing.

Awesome! Love it. Epic pulls :)

The three autos I pulled came from three straight blasters from the same Walmart. It’s great when advertised ratios are destroyed lol

Wish my Walmart luck was better - got pretty much zilch from 11 blasters across 3 Walmarts.

I'm lowering the price on the case I mentioned earlier in the thread to $450 delivered. That's my last reduction and it's a big one.

I’ll be putting up my want/trade list next week. I decided to buy a 40 box case of blaster boxes rather than a hobby case. First time I’ve done this. I’m not very excited about the collation. I’ve opened 28 boxes and I’m missing 38 SPs and many standard inserts. I’ll have some needs and quite a few SP dups for trade. I like the way the standard chrome cards look over the refractors, I might put that set together just because I like it, (not as an investment). Making progress on my blue auto quest, I need 15 more to have a set. I think finding a blue Joe Torre and Trout auto might be a challenge.

I'm keeping this one Dan, we both made out on blasters it seems. I've bought hobby cases for last 10-12 years and most years have gotten 3 autos. The 2 auto years were always disappointing unless there were other big hits.

Unbelieveable I did get fairly close to a set with what I opened but odd we don't match up on anything. I do have some of the other paralells but didn't list. Give me a day or 2 and I'll put something together.

I have a list. After two boxes and a ton of blasters, hangers and fat packs the amount I am short is amazing. I love the 71 design, but the volume of cards I have to buy just to get the full base set is amazing. I may post my list here if I have enough energy to type it out.

    Hi All,

I'm late to the ballgame, but I just put my two boxes in order. Here are my needs:

    385, 376, 377, 344, 331, 316, 301, 296, 291, 285, 277, 274, 253, 239, 226, 216, 206
    199, 176, 164, 153, 115, 98, 82, 73, 69, 65, 56, 54, 37, 5

I have the following available for trade:

    NAP: 23, 17, 15, 11
    TN: 13, 8,
    BF: 13, 8
    NF: 15, 13, 8, 2
    SPs: 490, 487, 480, 458, 446, 445, 443, 436, 431, 425, 418, 415, 409, 401

Right now, I'm only interested in filling the base set. I might be interested in the Willie Mays set, but that's not a priority right now. Thanks for any help you can give!

Finished up a full run of the 'Nickname' variations! Tough SSP's to track down, but nice to have 'em all:

Nice Job! That's a cool quest to undertake. What's the ratio on these SSPs? One per case or less than that?

So you got 80 unique SPs from your blaster case, but how did you do with other things? Any autos? Any big hits? How many hot boxes of purple chromes in the 40 boxes? Etc....

I had 2 purple chrome hot boxes. Two blue autos: Bobby Bradley & Steve Carlton
One French card #70 - NL Pitching Leaders
    3 Chromes
4 Clubhouse collections (2 of Gio Urshela, Joey Gallo & Trea Turner)
3 Refractors #571: Yelich, McNeil & Trout (not bad)
1 White Refractor #71: Urshela... again
1 Super Refractor, my first ever Heritage one of one pull: J.D. Davis

Overall, decent, but the SP and regular insert collation certainly isn't as good as a hobby case from my perspective.

Just looked up the ratio for the nickname cards. It's one in 2428 packs per my Blaster box wrapper. That's one per 8 or 9 cases. NOT EASY!

Looks like finding a Trout blue autograph isn't going to be easy either. I've only seen one on Ebay.

Yeah, they're like one every 8-9 cases or so, although I've watched a TON of case breaks and I've only seen 2 pulled. Pretty tough to find. Not easy for sure!!

Man, I have serious questions about marking an error card LOL. Is it really an error if on purpose? Isn't that just a variation? Good Lord hahahah

Ha - i know, right? They purposely make it an error, and mark it as such which is pretty funny. *the "error" is they cleaned up the light pole in the background of the photo (and tinted it blue). Not sure how that's even an "error" but I'll take it! Ha!

So I opened a full hobby case, got 3 ho-hum autos(to me anyway.) and had 1 box with no auto/relic. My wife stopped by Walmart and bought me 4 blasters, I pulled this :

Now I eventually need one of these! I pulled a Ryan auto that I plan to keep. Will have to keep an eye out on one of these on eBay. Great pull!!
