Don’t know anything about the star liner stickers but I like them. Nice find. How do you know it is from 1983? Would have guessed it was from about ‘67 based on Colavito being an Indian and Palmer being included.
All of the eBay listings that I found, after acquiring them, list them as 1983, including the label on one SGC Mantle. I had never seen these particular photos before, but in a post above, @LarkinCollector (Thank you for the reply) says they are reprints of 1967 Dexter Press.

They’re a high end reprint set of the 1966-67 Dexter Press (aka Coca Cola) Premiums.
They’re very pretty portraits to look at and the set chock full of stars.
Yes, I bought them specifically for the eye pleasing photos. My "investment" is minimal, especially compared to the cost of ripping a modern blaster box. I really dig them, even if they're not worth anything.

Legend has it that these ‘photo cards’ were basically produced very cheaply because of theft. You see, people who stayed at the Holiday Inn in Joplin often took souvenirs. Basically, it started with soaps and matchbooks but soon people were basically taking everything that wasn’t nailed down. The idea became to offer each guest a ‘complimentary souvenir’ for their stay and it allegedly worked and the large scale theft subsided. The point is that due to their mass production and their keepsake status they are not too tough to find though they’re very sensitive and take indentations, bends, tears, nicks and scratches easily. This one has basically all those issues but there’s something about it that made me pounce.

I love when international packages arrive safely ...
German Jack, ended up picking up about 30 total golf Sportscasters of the German and Italian versions. This one will increase the pop report by 50% whenever I get around to submitting it, also got an Italian Jack that will do the same.
Hoping to add some more of his lower end rookies in the coming months, heres a start:
Edit: just noticed the mislabel for Encore, hopefully not a biggy,.
Main collecting focus is Patrick Roy playing days 85/86-02/03, expect 1/1, National/All-Star stamped cards.PC Completion: 2,548/2,952; 86.31% My Patrick Roy PC Website:https://proy33collector.weebly.com
I really like 1970 Topps Super Football and decided to participate in a break by buying the entire pack to see if I could get lucky and land a HOFer card for my collection. It turned out to be an incredible pack! 2 pack fresh Gale Sayers and a Johnny U!!
Took full advantage of the 10% Ebay Bucks offers in December since sales tax on Ebay started in my state 1/1.
I am working on the '61 and '68 HOF sets in addition to a Banks run. A much more focused group of cards than usual - as I tend to buy cards I like that are not towards anything I am focusing on. Over the halfway point on each HOF set and down to 7 more Banks cards (but one is the rookie and will have to save up for a while on that one).
I know this won't get much love from the masses, but @ReggieCleveland will likely find it to be the most beautiful thing he's seen today. It's an 18 box 1990 Donruss wax case with floor stand display.
I had been holding out for some time for a 1990 cello case with the floor stand display, but the last one I saw of those was almost 2 years ago, so finally just gave in and went with the wax.

Thats awesome!
I loved 90 Donruss back in the day. It was available most everywhere. Great memories.
picked this up from a newspaper classified add.. didn't pay too much for it.. box is around 400 cards ..am still organizing em.. years range 1964-1978. run out of holders for them so getting more tomorrow

got the whole box organized... pulled Parkhurst Caesare Maniago RC , Parkhurst Alex Faulkner , 5 1977 o-pee-chee guy lafleur All-stars , 1975 o-pee-chee Lanny McDonald , 1971 o-pee-chee Harry Howell , and 1969 O-pee-chee Jean Pronovost . have many other players but too many to list .. 428 cards in the lot . if wish more scans of the lot please let me know.
I bought a 48 count case of 1987 Donruss blister packs. There are 4 rows of 12 blister packs inside the case, each containing 3 cells of 25 cards and then 2 of the puzzle cards, on a cardboard backed hanger. The outer rows on each side suffered some minor abuse over the last 33 years, and their hanger cards showed it with some curling and creasing, but the actual baseball cards inside looked no worse for wear. One thing that was interesting to me was the number of repeating cards showing on the tops of the cells from pack to pack. I had 3 packs that each had a cell with Jeff Robinson on top, all with pretty beat up header cards, and out of curiosity, I opened all 3 packs. This was for 2 purposes - I wanted to check on the condition of the cards within the blister packs, and also check the collation. As stated, the cards were absolutely fine. The sequencing after Robinson, however, was different in all 3 cells. That random collation is certainly not the case with 1987 Topps or Fleer.
Anyway here are the best of the packs that I pulled with stars showing on top.
A close-up of the 2 HOF rookies. The Maddux is horribly OC, but the Larkin is fairly nice.
Would have really loved to have gotten a Bo or the other Barry showing on top, and certainly can't help but also mention Canseco or Mattingly or Gooden or Strawberry or Clark or Palmeiro or Joyner or Sierra or Santiago or Surhoff.....
Oh, man, what a flood of memories 87 Donruss brings!!! But, considering I had only 144 possible cells, and the repeating nature of those cells, I feel pretty fortunate to hit the players that I did. A lot of fun!
Here are a couple pick ups. Love the Trout image and even though it's not part of the 2016 run, I still thought it was cool. The T218 adds another to the set that I'm slowly picking up. Also, me and my boys opened four boxes of 2019 Tops Museum, and it was not only a lot of fun, but the artwork is amazing!
here's some others that i pulled from that box.. slowly holdering some of em to keep from getting creased worse. shops across from me called buck or two just opened and they are carrying the top loaders now so that makes me happy.. i dont have to take a bus to the other side of the city anymore .

Anyone have info on distribution, etc?
I would have to guess they're a homemade product, Starliner by MACTAC is a generic blank sticker that print shops can print anything on: https://www.thepapermillstore.com/paper-mills/mactac/starliner
This will do until I can get my hands on a 9!

Interesting. I’ve seen them with different backs too, but those could just be similar paper/sticker products.

I haven't been able to piece together the complete text of a Touchdown back to verify. For some reason they're still called Starliners.

Yes it is crazy. Really looks like three handles and two bats. The other card I know of with an optical illusion is this one:
Somehow I had never noticed that before, pretty crazy.
