    They're both Gorgeous!

    Congratulations, I find nothing to ask about, the faint adjustment marks and die cracks are just beautiful and add to the history.

    The strikes superior, the surfaces look pristine and the toning original. Nothing but praise here, and that praise is clearly sincere, since A. you know I looked hard, and B. I'm certainly no obsequious sycophant.

    Well bought. The prices hardly matter for such treasures.

    Did you own that 1797 half in the past? Or I'm mixing it up with someone else or a different 97.

    Ok I'm stupid. What is the 1796? It doesn't have a denomination on it and I'm not familiar with them :(

    It’s a quarter. If you look at a few dimes and quarters on line, you will see differences.

    Now I've been told it's a quarter, and a 2 cent piece.

    @tradedollarnut Help!

    I might have intentionally been off by 23 cents and forgot to add a smart @ss smiley in my earlier post. >:)

    Awesome and thank you for re-thinking posting your new coins. It really is something to look forward to.

    I knew I had seen that quarter somewhere. It has some pedigree -- among others, Mehl, Pogue and now Morelan.
