SHD posted a few photos last week in the BST of a few of his favorite gold coins that are being sold tomorrow...I hope to land one or more...he definitely chose the right person to sell them...

When I saw the title, it concerned me as usually these are used to announce problems or death. I'm glad he appears to be doing well, and I wish him the best with his sales.

Did I miss them already? Just went to Doug's site and can't find them?!?

Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.

Same here and glad to see spacehayduke is doing well.

Gotta watch out with these titles as we are all heading into the needing 2 suits for funerals and 0 for weddings territory.

Sure didn't want to have to pull a KellenCoin contacting his widow for the 3 HTT's he has I sorta like :s

Very nice coins! The 39-D is very appealing. Good luck on the sale.

Sorry to see you sell your treasures, but happy to see the enthusiasm for the hobby remains. Even with no financial stake in them anymore.
I hope you stick around the forums to add to the discussions. And congrats on coming out the other side with a profit.

About half of the set did not make it to the online offering, Doug must have had buyers lined up for those. Mostly gone already, win win for everyone, Doug, me, and the collectors that will enjoy them.

I plan to keep working on my bust quarters and my XF45 and AU58 (mostly) barber quarter set, and when I can find them, pq seated quarters mainly from the O-mint. So still in the game, just had to reduce abit and put the proceeds into retirement investments.

    Best, SH

Here are some of those sets and I will be keeping for many years to come:

Very pleased for the quick sale...hope that Puts a smile on your face, as it shows people appreciated your effort and tastes.

Agree that it was a win, win,,,, except for those of us that worked all day and cAme home to find just about everything sold...

Considering the $10 Indian , as I need one, but was hoping a c or d would be left when I looked.

    Congrats
