This was the perfect choice for my gold type set. It’s was my best chance to land a specimen I would never feel the need to upgrade. The piece itself has terrific color which the deep gold patina frames nicely. There is a nice semi proof finish which one would expect on this issue. The marks on the coin are minimal ( pics taken though a OGH holder). At the end of the day I wanted an attractive example of America’s first gold coin and this did the trick for me. It was love at first sight.

And yes I love the way the gold CAC looks on this package. A lot

Someday, possibly, I will be looking for a coin exactly like this for the type set. This is a tremendous coin, with or without plastic and with or without stickers. Perfect! Just Perfect!

Excellent coin! Nice detail on the eagle's breast and only minimal weakness elsewhere. A beautiful upper-end EF piece and looks like a good value in that condition.
