What are you going to do now, Mr. Kraft?

They still will win. They've been drafting
26th the past 1000 years and they still keep winning
    .

this logic has always amused me. the only real 1st round picks that matter are maybe 1-5, after that the talent is pretty much gone(any talent that really makes a big difference) and it's all about money.

I look at it this way --- the Patriots usually draft somewhere around 1st-3rd in the Second round.

Sure makes things interesting until march madness.

It wasn’t as if he organized the sex trafficking scheme. He just was an idiot who got stung by it.

Mark...I am not in agreement with the current draconian penalties for any man that has dared look the way of a tempting wench, but this is where the world is today.

Paying for the services was pretty likely illegal so this opens up Kraft to a whole slew of legal and NFL related jeopardy. Been a long time since I have been around 8 and Woodward, but I suspect that a cat as shrewd as Kraft had a feel that something nefarious was going on. Especially if it turns out that he was a repeat customer.

The guys on the forum can all wink at each other and say that "boys will be boys", but the feminist henchwomen will drop the hammer.

Let’s not forget the media is going to portray these girls as “forced slavery” regardless if they are willing participants or not. FACT

Illegal immigration is a filthy business , and no matter how bad the Americans are that hire illegals the worst are always other illegals that instead of helping their brothers , miss no opportunity to place the boot on the neck of their countrymen or country women.

The only way I give Kraft a fist pump for this is if these girls were adults and willing participants, and the fist pump is about him still getting after it at 77. I’m curious what feminist henchwoman is going to have a say in his punishment with the NFL? This is a misdemeanor and he is not going to lose the Patriots, worse case scenario he steps down and Jonathan Kraft takes the full rein of the operation, either way Kraft isn’t going anywhere.

If these girls are Aisan chances are they are here on a Visa and will make every dollar they can and happily pay the VIG then go back to China or Korea and live happily ever after.

Fair or not..the headline is and will continue to be "Robert Kraft-sex trafficking". Of course the Pats are the leagues premier team and this will hurt the NFL brand. He will not escape this with ownership intact.

He should have been more selective in choosing his paramours.

Yup,the guy is worth 6.6B and he ends up in a place like that of all places. Just 5 days ago he was hanging with rappers & former/current NBA players at the all star game and he couldn't pick out one of the groupies there for the game? Hell, there was a player starting in that game that could recommend an escort service if Bob really needed one.
I don't see him losing his team but Goodell will definitely hit him hard in his wallet. All the shame & embarrassment is all Kraft's fault and will be well deserved.
I read a comment elsewhere earlier that Schefter is reporting there was an even bigger name than Bob Kraft caught up in this investigation. The consensus guesses I read were either Tiger Woods or Trump.

It’s not illegal to kneel for the anthem and those footballers are vilified. But now some of these same people are giving a pass to a 77 year old football owner that picks up hookers in Florida were its illegal. That’s rich........Oh yes I did

If true it make him a creep.

Likely that he did "date" the groupies and hooked up with the escorts and maybe the cheerleaders as well.

    Remember...Tiger had about 14 girlfriends.

He is a creep for wanting to enjoy a woman at 77? I sure hope I still have desires for woman at 67 let alone 77. Paying for consensual sex hurts NOBODY and it’s not disrespectful to a willing grown Woman who probably can’t get a job to support herself and possibly a kid for that matter, disrespecting the flag that people died for to allow people to have the right to kneel is hurtful to millions that wear a uniform daily to protect those rights.

Oh definitely, that guy should be in jail by now with how many times he's videotaped sex with underage girls. I was just wondering out loud if that video from this week had anything to do with the sting that caught Bob Kraft.

It’s ILLEGAL and of course it hurts people. You can’t pay for consensual sex outside of legal regulated brothels. No illegal activity is victimless. Disrespecting the law is no bueno

In the broader investigation, police allege that some of the women were forced to become sex workers after obtaining work permits after emigrating from China. Doesn’t sound consensual or victimless to me

Yeah with me too. I could be wrong but from what I read the authorities have him on video paying for two separate sex acts and he's getting charged for solicitation of a prostitute not soliciting a minor for sex.

If he just gets charged for what has already been reported then this incident will probably be comparable to Jim Irsay's 500K fine & 6 game suspension for his DUI arrest with a bag full of cash & multiple prescription bottles. The shame & embarrassment alone would far outweigh missing games and handing over a huge check.
If he knew about minors forced into having sex or that place being tied to human trafficking then he needs to hand the team over to his son and just disappear because there will never be anything he could do or say that would ever change public sentiment towards him.

They still will win. They've been drafting

this logic has always amused me. the only real 1st round picks that matter are maybe 1-5, after that the talent is pretty much gone(any talent that really makes a big difference) and it's all about money.

I look at it this way --- the Patriots usually draft somewhere around 1st-3rd in the Second round.

The key to building a successfully winning team year after year is not a focus on finding the best players, but finding the right ones.

Herb Brooks knew this when putting together his 1980 gold medal winning Olympic hockey team. and Bill Belichick certainly knows this as well.

Not here, but I see others elsewhere on the internet showing their shock towards this. As a spin from the famous scene in Casablanca, "I'm shocked, shocked, that there's brothels going on here."

I would guess that around four out of five advertised "massage parlors" in the yellow pages, on the internet, etc, are actually brothels. Most every decent size town has one or a few, and of course cities are loaded with them.

Everybody, and I mean everybody who has knowledge about their community, knows exactly what these massage parlors are all about. Basically, as long as they treat their customers fine, and don't try to rip them off in various ways, law enforcement and others leave them alone. The owners shouldn't have one near churches, schools, etc, and the community usually looks the other way.

Prostitution is the world's oldest profession, alive and well everywhere. It is what it is.

Of course without debate, human trafficking is totally unacceptable. The hammer will come down hard on that, especially if there are underage involved.

Mark your spinning this in a different direction, forced prostitution and forced human trafficking is definitely a crime and hurts people we all know and agree with that BUT a woman offering her services by her own free will does not hurt anyone regardless if it’s a crime or not. If a brother opens and a woman applies for a job there knowing what she is offering to do then she is making an adult decision and is happy to do it then nobody gets hurt, no “Victim” involved. Im not saying it is not illegal but just because something is illegal it doesn’t mean there are victims involved. It’s illegal to bet sports in some states but if a person wants to wager for fun and can afford it there is no victim, it’s the same thing. If Kraft is involved with minors or forced trafficking then throw the book at him by all means but first let’s get the facts straight, if it’s willing adult woman then it’s a misdemeanor nothing more nothing less.

the Human Trafficking and Sex Slave angle is one that is often misunderstood, as exhibited here. most people have a vision in their heads of young women in chains being forced to perform. those same people are probably ignorant of such things as Debtors Prison and Indentured Servitude which were commonplace during America's "formative years. more than a few of our ancestors ended up right here as a result of those two things.

they continue today in the so-called Third World/Developing Countries.

it may only be a misdemeanor but for the NFL it is a PR nightmare!! if there are 30 of us talking about it here there are hundreds of thousands of fans, potential fans and more importantly, the mothers/wives/sisters/daughters of those talking about it. while some of us male chauvinists don't get it, women do --- the fairer sex has been exploited for centuries. when they started to burn their bras in the late 60's it was the first sign.

I have said it for years --- the 2008 Presidential Election was a gut-check for a lot of people, the choice was a Woman or a Black Man. get away from all the political stuff that Primary entailed and get down to basic human fear and loathing. the woman was out because way too many men can't envision the thought of a woman being in charge. better to take a chance with the Black Man, the lesser of two evils.

I suppose that as trivial as this is seen to be in some circles that the NFL and Kraft are already talking. they most certainly want this to go away since the Draft is in the near future. and let's face it guys, if there's some kind of Female Inspired backlash over this it is bad: bad for Kraft, bad for the NFL and bad for many of us.

Happy Wife, Happy Life. I don't like the alternative and that ain't Fake News.

I’m still waiting for someone to answer my question about the supposed feminine voice that’s going to have a say in this disciplinary procedure, yes woman rights groups will cry about this and act up but it’s not going to have anything to do with NFL discipline. Kraft might tell everyone to screw and mind their own business and then just “Retire” And hand the keys to his son. Case closed, you sharpened the guillotine for nothing

in the long run this is just Comedy Show/Late Night TV fodder that proves smart people do stupid things, but it has the potential to be more than that. time will tell.

It’s not illegal to kneel for the anthem and those footballers are vilified. But now some of these same people are giving a pass to a 77 year old football owner that picks up hookers in Florida were its illegal. That’s rich........Oh yes I did

If true it make him a creep.

Kraft is subject to the same NFL Personal Conduct Policy as the players.

So Mark never drove 65 when the speed limit was 55. Mark always fully stops at a stop sign. Mark never jaywalked. Mark never littered. Mark never took anything extra as a tax deduction. Mark never played poker at his home or anyone else's home.

Oh I could go on and on, but the bottom line it's obvious that Mark is an exemplary human being. 🙄

BTW - I would be sure about Mark's position regarding what is going on at our Southern border. Based on his admiration for the filthy rich maggot Colin Kaepernick. Let 'em all in, right Mark? Oh well, his holier than thou "No illegal activity is victimless. Disrespecting the law is no bueno" just went right out the window. 🤣

There are some funny squirrels down there in certain counties in Florida. The local sheriff will bust a "massage parlor" for prostitution, but yet leave another one alone doing the exact same thing. And of course it's because the other one was paying the proper dividends to the sheriff.

As we all agree, the human trafficking element takes this to a whole different level of illegality, that nobody accepts. Whether the massage parlor got busted for not paying off the sheriff and then they discovered the human trafficking, or whether it got busted because of the human trafficking, and the prostitution going on really had nothing to do with the bust, I do not know. However if this massage parlor was well known among the customers for offering human trafficking and underage prostitutes, it would spell extremely bad trouble for Robert Kraft, in my opinion, because then it's likely that he knowingly supported a heinous crime by being a customer.

So if it is human trafficking, and Robert Kraft was bopping underage girls, he is in a world of legal trouble. Trouble that even his skilled lawyers may not be able to get him out of. Certainly, at the least he would lose ownership of the Patriots.

    We shall see.
