I searched for the lowest listing prices with offers accepted. Who knows what those sellers are actually getting for offers or at what markup. Once the current auctions close that will be a more accurate gauge of the flip margin of course.

Somewhere there is a website that shows the actual prices accepted and paid for eBay offers, but I can't remember the link. Someone here probably knows it, as it is a useful tool.

I should have bought 1000 of the half dollar sets. It may end up being the only real flip opportunity of the year. I mean the 5 oz pucks were a good initial flip because of the production delays, but those were unavailable in 6 or 7 minutes.

Doing a quick search yesterday it appears those flipping the PF70's are doing well. I found the PF69 5 oz puck for $309 or best offer shipped compared to $535 obo for the PF70 on Ebay. I found the PF69 gold for $482 obo compared to $600 obo for the PF70 shipped on Ebay.

I searched for the lowest listing prices with offers accepted. Who knows what those sellers are actually getting for offers or at what markup. Once the current auctions close that will be a more accurate gauge of the flip margin of course.

Again, only the 1st strike so it wasn't much of a flip opportunity since you couldn't get many before the backorder. I had 15, but most people I know had trouble even getting a second order through before the backorder.

You also really can't look at the 70 price as a "flip". 69s are basically selling at the raw price + slab costs.

I think my 4 pucks are first stuck, last graded. Maybe I can get a special label.

    Maybe a “FILO” label?

Accountants would be lined up to bid on those. 😊

You can do that on the Bay. Use the filter option and then filter for completed/sold items.

My Puck was delivered today. One word - ## WOW

And....the 3" Mint Apollo medal...the 1.5" is still back ordered

    edit to clarify:
This is the Mint shipped puck. Not a graded one. Fresh from the back order dungeon.

I was hoping today would be the day since many are posting their results... and it was! But the results were for a completely non-Apollo related submission.

    Apollos still pending. 🔮

PCGS just issued my grades on my 2 half sets. There all 70s and that never happens but did they go in the double holders? Ohhhh I guess I will wait if not so be it.
I went ahead and called customer service and the nice lady went the extra mile to physically check to make sure they go in the holder they promised. That was very nice of her.
NGC just posted my remaining submissions all 70s. That never happens to me. 8 eight coins totaled.

PCGS just issued my grades on my 2018 S Silver Kennedy Reverse Proof's. Made out ok. No special labels needed.

Fox9487 I would say all of the Apollo labels are special including yours. The ones I wanted both coins will be in 1 holder. I do not even know what the label is I guess time will tell, but it has the First Strike Designation . Congradulaions on your PCGS submission’s.

Now, I did see some discrete — and often discreet — black spots on the Apollo proof halves when screening them. ;) (More prevalent were brown spots on the Kenns.)

Edit to add: all I see on Hemi’s coin is a tiny divot - better word available? — between STATES and OF just inside the rim. Totally acceptable as it doesn’t impact eye appeal for me... tho perhaps a disqualifier for 70 grade.

Figure a week or less depending on the internal process @ PCGS to complete shipping and get it out the door. Then there is travel time for your package (not counting the side trip to Guam that I have had twice (not for PCGS packages thank heavens)) which fills the rest of the hypothetical grades email to in hand anticipated time.

I circled three marks that I think caused the 69. I do not remember seeing them. Then again, my eyes are not what they used to be either. ;) I would need to see in-hand, again, if they are that obvious to the naked eye.

After grading they have to prepare the coins and any OGP you want returned. Our host does an EXCELLENT job in preparing the shipping package. Usually, I receive the package in 2-3 days once it ships.

I have not been able to verify the release dates but it would make sense to release the DVD/Blu-ray before the 50th anniversary dates: launch to splash down 16-24 Jul 69; moon landing 20 Jul; and first step on 21 Jul.

    Apollo 11 (2019)
Apollo 11 Blu-ray release date is estimated for June 2019 and available on Digital HD from Amazon Video and iTunes is estimated for June 2019.
