A post like this immediately destroys your credibility.

Welcome aboard. We look forward to your photo.

You should know that most "awaiting approvals" never seem to appear as posts. You might try using the photo upload link to post the photo.

My guess is they are regular cents. I am not aware of any raised rim varieties.

I'd be glad to comment on the
Finned Rims if I could see a photo or two.

I see no finned rims on the cents,
    nor any other error visible.

    Tented arches.

OP - don't those rims look exactly like
all the other copper cents of other dates
    that you have?

I still don't see any unusual shape or height
    of the rims

Do not buy anything from this poster!!! Text structure is the same from a recently banned member who scammed several people.

there is a old saying" if something sounds too good to be true it is" well this thread falls into that saying, common pennies you can buy in rolls from a bank, e-bay and many other sites, a story that just sounds way too good to be true

too many red flags for my taste but this is just my take on the issue

Buy from new posters at your own risk.

THIS LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE SCAMMER THAT WAS RECENTLY BANNED.

"I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IM DOING HAHAHA! "
Then carries on to talk like they know what they are doing, the previous banned newbie did the exact same thing.
2 members have been scammed already please dont add to the list.

    "...was given...."

Normal cents. A "fin" is extremely common and would add nothing to the collector value of any coin. The friend was mistaken. Also, William H. Brett is the only former mint director who would reasonably fit as anyone's "great grandfather." (His only children were Peter and William H 3rd.)

    Was Gramps mad at you?

  • I can assure you that im not a scammer , lol .. i WAS GIVEN the coins years ago by a friend , her name was emily. Since ive lost contact, but will look her up to prove my case is true. Brb

Two are super deep dish and one is an ultra deep dish! The way to figure it out is to NOT simply weigh each coin (with a popcycle stick).

Too good to be true? What's he selling? Common date cents that no one wants?

FWIW, from October 1961 through February 1977, the Director of the United States Mint was a woman (first, Eva Adams, second Mary Brooks). Of course, numerous men had Mint jobs with big titles too.

They spell it 'Boyer' here in flyover country.

No, still looks like a normal coin.

You received answers from one of the premier experts on error coins. There is no reason to believe he's wrong.

Still regular cents. Worth 1C, or copper value.

They have all doubled in value since 1964 - most copper cents now worth 2 cents - not too shabby

My only question would be have you learned how to handle coins? Cotton gloves maybe a cotton t-shirt? Heck, just holding by the edges would be better . 🤨
