I will be selling off my Trade Dollar set at the Oct Baltimore show. It has many hand selected coins and many finest known for the varieties. If you have one you would like before they hit the open market please take a look. Most of the Chop Marks are already sold and a few of the others as well. I will be updating the Showcase in the coming days and removing the ones sold shortly. Prices on request but they will be about auction average minus the % of what I would typical have to pay to the house to save you a bit. Bigger discounts for multiples
I’ll be adding prices and deleting coins over there coming days

What will your table number be at the Baltimore show, or what is your company name?
Thank you for the interest but I don’t have a table or coin business. Just a simple collector with a set I am moving on from.
If anyone has been looking for a choice trade dollar or better variety shoot me a line. They are selling quite quickly and I suspect most will be gone by Baltimore
Today’s highlight is simply the most eye appealing circulated trade dollar I have ever held. It faces up like a 63 and I suspect the circulated grade is the artifact of a grader who is unfortunately unfamiliar with the strike flatness the 77p almost always exhibit. This one is better than most with only the diagnostic flat stars on the obv. It has absolutely booming luster and rich deep metallic gold/copper colored toning. For an eye appeal connoisseur !!!SOLD!!!!

Today highlighted coin is a rare DMPL example. Clearly the San Francisco mint was refining their prodction techniques that carried over into Morgan dollars the very next year. Very Strong mirrors and no real wear only handling contact to the delicate mirrors. DMPLs rarely offered on the open market for this series
Offered at "SOLD"

pm sent to crypto on the 77s!
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
Just received the 1875 s/cc and the 77ddo. The over mm is a knockout and the 77 solidly original. John/Crypto is great to deal with!
Today’s coin highlight are a pair of choice common date type coins in uncommon choice AU58. What makes these special is they are a matched pair that effectively show off the different hub type Revs, with berry and without. A lot of coin for the money offered at “sold”.

Highlighted today are a pair of early CC dollars in completely original condition.
The more common type 1/1 is a classic AU with mutiple layers of age and patina with glowing tone peaking out in the protected areas. Where the rare type 1/2 has booming luster but is net graded for the diagnostic weak strike on the Rev that most all type 1/2 have. Offered “sold” and 675 shipped

Todays highlight (note yesterday’s 75cc in 45 is still available at 675)
Is a original and glowing UNC 1874s. The type 1 early trade dollars are much more scare in UNC. This one has it’s multiple layers of age covering complete glowing luster. The obv really comes off well. A better date offered at type prices make this a smart coin to add. Offered at $975 shipped

For Today’s consideration is a flashy semi PL UNC example of one of the best doubled dies in the series. The rev has doubling on most of the letters and numbers and is related to the broken arrows 77s which is what the doubling was intended to fix. Very rare UNC
Rev mounted in an old blue (no prong holder) to highlight the doubling
Offered at $1800

For your consideration is a very attractively toned (pictures came out dark) 1877s Doubled die rev. The luster booms on this one and those blacks come off as metallic blues and purples with orange highlights. The doubling is a neat bonus. Shoot me a PM and I can text or email you videos of the colors
Offered at 625$ shipped

That IS a tough die pair on that 76-CC! They don't come around often. Somebody should snag it at that price...
