Spent some time down in the local park a few weeks ago. Love the ones just laying, covered in mud, like there isn't a care in the world. Of course, if you stand outside for a while, you will understand why they cover themselves in mud.

Personally, I like your quarter more than the nickel. But that's just me.

Beautiful picture. I was there in 1990 and got to watch an entire herd swim across a river. So cool!

I grew up about 90 minutes from the park and I worked in West Yellowstone two summers when I was in high school. Back when it was still allowed, we snowmobiled into Old Faithful every winter. It's a great place, but I really had no idea how special it was at the time. I still like to get back at least once a year. Last year I had the opportunity to take a family from Namibia there on their first trip to the States. They thought it was pretty cool.

It is one of the few places in the world where you could meet someone from anywhere in the world. The other one is probably Disneyworld.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget... unless it is a '37-D or '38-D. The '29-S is nice regardless of grade.

Thanks and the 29-S is a 65, my 37-D is only a 64 until the upgrade is in the proper holder.

Lots of sweet buffs in this thread.

When I was a kid, there was a farm in our area that had a few buffaloes. Sometimes, on Sunday, we would drive down to see them. Great days.

Great pictures of the bison. I have been to Yellowstone twice, once for a week in 1974 just out of high school and then in 1979. Stayed in Old Faithful Inn for a night. Never saw a black bear either time.
