There’s a shop close to Collectors Universe HQ called Pro Photo Connection that’ll process the negatives, and do some pretty good high resolution scans of them.

Google Earth is great for metal detecting. Here are some areas of interest I have marked around historic Old Town Spring.
From 1944, I'm guessing that is the earliest satellite images are available for the area.

Where do you have the film developed? I have a few rolls of 35mm I’d like to have developed if they are still viable. At least 10+ years old.
