Not for a page past 465. I've had trouble all afternoon. It looks like pages past 465 are bogus. I could be wrong too.

Enjoy Highlights from the Traditional (now 30 plus Years ) Alaska State Fair Lumberjack Show

Click on the below link to see the following highlight videos which will play in succession:

    Video 1:

Watch as two Lumberjacks compete in the axe throwing competition at the 2024 Alaska State Fair.

The first competitor hits an outer ring of the target giving him a score of 2. This is followed by the winner hitting a perfect bullseye adding 5 to his score.

    Video 2:

Watch as these two Lumberjacks race to be the first to cut a log disk using shoulder high cross cut saws.

After setting of the saws and some friendly banter, the race is on here at the 2024 Alaska State Fair’s Lumberjack Show.

    Video 3:

This Lumberjack Obstacle Race tests multiple Lumberjack Skills as it begins with a hook prodded log roll followed by balancing on a log while cutting off a disc with a chainsaw and then progressed to a sprint across a pond.

It concludes with a race back to the start where the first to wrap a chocker chain to around a log wins.

The competition performed here at the 2024 Alaska State Fair’s Lumberjack Show replicates an actual test of skill that would be performed in the logging camps.

    Video 4:

Watch as these two lumberjacks compete to see who is the first to reach the red line on a 40 foot pole and then scamper down for the win,

Featured at the Lumberjack Show held at the 2024 Alaska State Fair which has spanned over 30 years.

    Video 5:

In this final competition of the 2024 Alaska State Fair’s Lumberjack Show that has extended for over 30 years, watch as the competitors jostle each other while balanced on a log extending over a pond.

Winner is the lumberjack who can stay balanced on the log the most times without splashing into the water.

The Alaska Railroad’s Glacier Discovery Train departs Anchorage Alaska each summer morning as the last passenger train out of Anchorage.

Its mission is to assist its passengers to discover glaciers that cannot be seen by a roadway. Most notable is the massive Spencer Glacier with a fronting iceberg laden lake located in a hidden valley 30 minutes south of Portage Alaska.

The train then continues on past mountain nested Bartlett Glacier and Trail Glacier before reaching scenic Grandview from where it reverses direction for its return.

Not sure which is more entertaining, the ultimate long distance frisbee catch or the efforts required to get this pit bull dog to let go of the frisbee so it can be thrown

The dog skill demonstration was a featured event at the 2024 Alaska State Fair.
