I believe this Tall Ship alongside the carrier is the Amerigo Vespucci (the most beautiful ship in the world).
While sailing the Mediterranean Sea in 1962, the American aircraft carrier USS Independence flashed the Amerigo Vespucci with the light signal asking: "Who are you?" The full-rigged ship answered: "Training ship Amerigo Vespucci, Italian Navy." The Independence replied: "You are the most beautiful ship in the world." In 2022 the Amerigo Vespucci sailed by the American aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush, which saluted the ship and commented: "You are still, after 60 years, the most beautiful ship in the world"
We saw her off Barber's Point, O'ahu last week while sailing up the leeward side. Yup, it's beautiful.
Once Again it is Festival Time in Japan - Highlighting Aomori Japan's Famed Nebuta Festival
In the video below, First the beat of Taiko Drums are heard as the drum corps leads. Then dressed in festival garb the dancers appear only to be followed by a Nebuta float of massive size and skilled construction.
The Nebuta Festival bus-sized floats are among the most spectacular in Japan and their builders work a full year designing and constructing them.
On the final night of Japan’s celebrated Nebuta Festival held in Aomori Japan, fireworks explode over the bay to herald the arrival of the lighted Nebuta floats as they are transported across the water.
Watch below as the Japan sky lights up with exploding aerials only to be followed by a Nebuta float spectacularly lit up against the night sky.
Writing of Japanese Festivals in the Edo Period of the 1700's, the foreign observer Engelbert Kaempler wrote, "The happiness of the celebration and the wishes of good luck are intended to distract the kami or gods, and to avoid bad luck. Since properly speaking they are not there for the worship of the gods but to generate festive joy, they are acceptable to all religions and sects."
I grew up down the road. A great Uncle owned the mill. That’s Fred Garland’s (also kin) store. When they closed we bought the showcases; they gave me the signs.
Anyhow, I came to post this bit, when I saw Uncle Doss back there—
Sugarloaf Mountain, 312 feet above sea level—the highest point in peninsular Florida—Lake Apopa in the background.
That sure looks similar to the house on the Universal Lot that has been in multiple TV Shows/Movies in various itinerations. It has been so long since I took the Universal Tour that I would be guessing to list them at this time but perhaps others could at least make educated guesses.
Edited to add: Not the same house as the one on the Universal Studios Lot"
"For those of you who are movie buffs, don't miss visiting Potter's School in Bodega, CA. It's a private residence now, but just standing in front of the front gate will give you flashbacks of Hitchcock's 1963 horror film, The Birds. Still looks the same as in the film."

@Creg Thanks for the really neat info. The only thing I see on the internet is my Wifes 3rd Cousin ELVIS. She was raised in Memphis.
