My father, me and my ten year old daughter. She was so impressive, she had several dives over an hour. First off the boat and outlasted most of the adults diving that went in after us.
Oak Grove Cemetery, Brunswick, GA. I've loved historic cemeteries since I was a kid. I like to drive through at Mickey D's and take my breakfast to the old graveyard and sit and eat it there. You know, like totally normal people do, all the time. LOL
Looking Glass Falls, near Brevard, NC. On a recent mountain vacation, which unfortunately did not include any swimming this time, because I had bronchitis. I normally loves me some icy-cold mountain water in the summertime, though.
Clyde the kitten, aka "Queso", enjoying his first taste of outdoor freedom. Didn't take him long to climb a tree onto the roof.
Daughter Victoria came home from work, took off her server's apron, and threw some of her tip money at Clyde, just see how he'd react. He was all like, "Hey, what am I supposed to do with this?"
July 11, 1804, Vice President Aaron Burr mortally wounded former Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton during a pistol duel in Weehawken, New Jersey. (Hamilton died the next day, July 12, 1804.).
Enthusiastic collector of British pre-decimal and Canadian decimal circulation coins.
I got special permission to bring a large format film camera into Union Station in Los Angeles a few months ago to photograph in their closed off areas. Awesome experience!!! I want to go back and do another round in the future someday but I don't want to press my luck

This week before the crowds.
That is a nice sized piece of Moon Rock, and from the first landing no less.
For comparison here is my photo of a Lunar Rock from the same mission as it was displayed at Expo 70 in Japan at the United States Pavilion there the year after the moon landing. It was the main attraction of the exhibition and I even caught a photo of Prince Charles coming to the U.S. Pavilion to see it.
(The reason my photo of Prince Charles is blurred is because I had my telephoto lens mounted on my camera assuming I would be some distance from the him. Then he walked right up to where I was standing at the entrance to the U.S. Pavilion to shake hands with us.)
I added a listening area to my studio for listening to actual music not created by me. I spent years researching my listening room and I finally pulled the trigger even though its not ideal in a shared space with music production gear but I made it work. I had the Nova picked out many years ago. This one can crank out 350 watts per stereo channel. Also houses a tube amp or solid state option for the signal. Nova 220Se. Found a great price on it, half price of retail new from a niche vendor.
The speakers were a much harder selection with so many 2nd market great deals going back to gear from the 60s all as viable audiophile options. Then there are the 100s of great new line options. The search came to and end when by a stroke of luck I scored a pair of Buchardt S400 SE s in black oak. Only 25 numbered pairs were made.
So here's an interesting story and a pic to go with it. The glow in the dark rocks up there(fluorescent minerals I know), got me to scratch an itch and I cruised ebay for hours and finally settled on a few buys. But oddly on one unit with an OBO on it, I make an offer and the seller counters with a $5 lower counteroffer??? Never seen that.(I declined of course cause obviously something fishy is up....jk i bought it)

Which minerals are those? Awesome colors. Thinking of adding some of these reactive ones to my music studio where blacklights often rule the night.
