An update on the painting which continues as a work in progress. I was informed by the Gallery that the final painting will be a collaborative effort between three artists. The second artist has now added the wildflowers:

Japan first opened up for foreigners to come visit again at the end of 2022. In 2023 The Cruise Ship Diamond Princess was allowed to return to Japan to resume visits to Japanese Ports. Pictured below are some of the places we were able to see and visit both in Japan and on 2023 cruises aboard the Diamond Princess which included the ship's first 2023 Cruise in March and another in August. The March Cruise featured "Spring Flowers" as it sailed during the Cherry Blossom season, and the August Cruise was themed as a "Japan Festivals Cruise" as it traveled to ports hosting summer festivals.
