I collect all of the special holiday Lego sets and out up a whole display at my parents house every year. They release a new set or two each year and I’m a little behind so I need to catch up on past years before the new ones are released this year!

Getting an early start on the week. Given that September is now officially here, it is harvest time.
Pictured are some just picked Japanese Green Peppers that we grew this summer which are known by their Japanese name of Shishito.
And here is a picture of shish kebobs I made for the students we were volunteer teaching in Japan last fall which were a big hit with the included and very flavorful Shishito Japanese Green Peppers.
Atop the Great Wall of China and on Tiananmen Square with its plethora of security cameras.
(As to the climbing of the Great Wall of China, It was pretty cool to learn from our guide that he had guided LeBron James and Nicolas Cage up this same route.
Having seen LeBron play when he was still in Cleveland and having been present as Nicolas Cage was acting in a movie here where I live, hearing this brought home how small this big world really is.)
