    I saw Kevin Allen on the list. That's funny, one of the worst NFL draft picks in history.

    Of course it wasn't funny at the time. :s

    He wasn't near the top 10 at least. I think the first 7 are probably the only ones that belong in the discussion, and top 2 (possibly 3, but don't know much about Bednarik) the only real debate.

    Yea, Allen just placed on the voting list as a joke.

    Philly humor. LOL

    Whoever decided that Michael Vick should get the 10th spot needs their head checked. You would think Eric Allen deserves a spot somewhere on that list.

    Michael was an interesting replacement, but never the guy who would lead the Eagles to the promised land. I thought that he deserved a second chance after the dog fighting thing, but never was a championship team quality quarterback.

  • you all must not of played the game. is it still taboo to tell it like it is? well here goes, and im not making friends on this one. BROWN was ok against mostly white defense's. if he played agaisnt guys like RONNIE LOTT, STEVE ATWATER ,MIKE SINGLETARY, OR L.T. YOU WOULDNT EVEN KNOW HIS NAME. Oh yea, and BRADY WITHOUT BILL PARCELLS protege is like HAROLD MELVIN WITHOUT THE BLUE NOTES, or REGGIE WITHOUT OCTOBER. this is fun, no disrespect intended.

    Here's something related to the Brady/Belichick debate earlier in this thread,a local sports talk radio show here in NE has a poll up on twitter asking Pats fans who is more instrumental for the success of the NE Patriots,Brady or Belichik? It's had over 2300 votes so far with 58% saying Brady & 42% saying Belichik.

    My vote would be Belichick. Without his many strategic personnel moves through the years, Brady might just have been another Aaron Rodgers or maybe something less.

    Comparing Rodgers to Brady is like comparing Larry Bird to John Stockton.
    In other words, not really a comparison.

    Comparing Brady to Rodgers is more like comparing Jordan to Paul Pierce. Rodgers is a really good QB but unless he wins more SBs he's nothing more than a guy who had one great playoff run to go along with some nice career stats like Pierce.

    Aaron Rodgers is not even the second best QB currently in the NFL, he gets way too much credit in my opinion.

    I respect the opinion but if you actually watched Brady on a weekly basis you would see what Brady repeatedly does on a football field is nothing that Belichik can take credit for. Bill deserves credit for finding players to put around Brady but BB isn't the reason why Brady is still playing with a chip on his shoulder even at the age of 41.

    On the other hand, it's a semi-valid criticism - until you realize that Emmitt had exactly one season averaging 4.8 yards or higher

    I realize I'm about as smart as that cheese steak wrapper, or even perhaps the cheese, but how did Emmitt Smith ever enter a "Philadelphia's Greatest Player" thread ?

    LOL ++

    No clue. I responded to a different thread.

    I believe the point is that if Emmitt Smith played for the Eagles he would have been their greatest player ever.
