It seems so common lately. Personally, a deletion has never occurred to me.

I see nothing wrong with doing so.
I had an issue with which I needed help resolving. Help came, problem resolved, thread deleted to keep from hurting feelings.
    What’s wrong with that?

Because dummies as I am OPEN IT to see what was deleted. That's what's wrong. :)

On two different occasions I've been writing a reply to a discussion and it was "Poofed" before I could post what I was going to add. Sad waste of time.

I have supported deleting other peoples' threads on occasion....

  • ParadisefoundParadisefound Posts: 8,588 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Deleted thread 3 times:
    1. Wrong forum :o
    2. Seconds after posting realized it was too controversial ; deleted before @ricko catch it >:)
    3. ....a good thread becoming too heated for our own good...so I changed the subject line to deleted :#

I've deleted a few duplicate threads about a news event due to laziness on my part to first check and see if a thread on the topic had already been started. LOL

Just once. I posted one of my "British Kings "Bullet Book" series in "Questions and Answers" because I didn't realize that I was up one category. I put "deleted" in the title and explained why in the body of the first message.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
