Hi All,
I posted under So-Called Dollars with no responses so I am going to post here also even though it doesn’t belong here. I just recently purchased an extremely rare So-Called Dollar. It should be arriving in the mail tomorrow. It’s an HK-7A and since it is the plate coin I will include pictures from the So-Called Dollar Book. I welcome all comments especially from @Zoins who is an expert i this area.
Its very nice @Gettysburgcollector
Unfortunately, most of the so-called dollar guys are no longer on this forum. @keets would have been able to give you all the info you need, Im sure. Im hoping @Zoins chimes in, but he has also been away from the forums lately.

Hi All,
I just added another piece to my collection. This is a veteran’s medal from the 75th reunion. While I already have one of those in my collection what makes this one special is that it was issued to a Confederate Veteran. The name engraved on the medal is John Riley Childress. He was in Company A, 3rd (Palmetto) Battalion, South Carolina Light Artillery. See picture below.
Hi All,
Yesterday at the Gettysburg Battlefield Coin Show I displayed a large portion of my collection of Gettysburg Reunion Memorabilia. The promoter of the show, Mike Dixon, was very kind in allowing me the space to set up a display at his show. I would highly recommend attending this show if anyone is ever in the area. The dealers are very knowledgeable and the prices seem very fair . See pictures below.
I was notified recently of a collection that was coming up for sale and that some extremely rare pieces would be a part of it. This piece just arrived today. Possibly the only known example and Confederate too !! The string is made to wrap around a coat button.
I found a picture with 2 North Carolina Veterans wearing the “Tar Heel” piece at the reunion . First is the Veteran 2nd from the left and also the veteran all the way on the right. He appears to have it spun around backwards.
I just picked up another extremely rare medal. This was worn by a veteran who journeyed all the way from the great state of California to the Gettysburg reunion in 1913. I’m not going to apologize for its condition due to its rarity.
I don't have too much, other than the commemorative half dollar.
Here's a photo of the monument.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Love it. Wish I could have attended to see your awesome collection. @MICHAELDIXON is a member here, as you probably know.
Can we get some individual pictures of the 75th Anniversary medals in this case?
Please and thank you!

Just seeing this now. Great new addition! And to have a photo of a veteran wearing an example of that piece really adds to the enjoyment.
Congrats!
