Mine would be the time I tried asking a question on the sports forum about a slab...apparently they don’t care much about collecting slabs that aren’t from a top grader.
Likely my favorite comment about myself from that thread:
“No serious sportscard collector would consider what the OP brought up.......It's just a fact and it's not really open to debate.”
The one where in 1872 I found an 1804 dollar in change at my Uncle's general store in Fillemup, North Carolina when I was only three, and was able to instantly sell it for $500 cash plus 7 penny peppermint sticks and a stink bomb.....or was it something else?
"my Libertas stuck in it's airtite capsule" with the FUNNIEST responses IMO
I posted RIP picture to give a subtle message to cease....but suggestions kept pouring in
......still LOL over you guys
I have no idea.... I do know that one I started still has legs...It is titled 'Bitcoins' on the PM forum..13 pages, 626 comments.... I don't think any other comes close....Cheers, RickO
I was gone for about 5 yrs from here as I ventured into the baseball card scene. About 5 yrs ago I started a thread called "Anyone up for some Roosie talk" over on the Set Registry Forum. It garnered about a dozen or so pages of Roosevelt Dime talk and spawned 4 more threads!

About a year ago I started a "build up your LOL count" thread. It got to about 200 responses and the jokes began trending to the off color spectrum.
Thread went Poof but I believe the LOL's remained.

For me it is the threads I posted about the Langbords lawsuit over the 1933 double eagles.
When I gave away some coins, always a forum fav.
I had a couple eBay ones too and can't remember the exact topic. That went pretty long.

I vote for @Tootellthetruth's thread.
Those were excellent -- one and all!
My most memorable was when I first came here and expressed shock that so many of my NGC coins downgraded on cross.
Lance.
Based on number of responses alone, sad to say my highest rated is the current "THIS IS NOT A CAC THREAD...."
That's just sad in so many ways....
That took an impressive amount of dedication, Sanction.

The wildest thread I've started was last year's EU set. It took on a life of it's own, with 3200 replies, 84,300 views and lived 10 months...
