Been watching this for the last year as it's been priced for like $1700-1900, $5000, $8900, $10000...
Since there's no takers at any of those prices why not try for $75K?

Dealers used to tell me that the way to sell something that wasn't selling was to raise the price. I guess this seller has taken that advice to heart.
I have seen that with art. When I lived out west, had a buddy - struggling artist - stuff was not selling. And, he was a talented painter.. really nice work. He had a weekend show at a flea market....an art dealer came by... talked to him a while. Told him to bring his stuff to his store - he would raise the prices ten fold....and more in a few cases..... They had a show of his work about a month later - sold out. He was still doing great the last time I talked to him. Cheers, RickO
I found this to be true in a small business I used to own. I made trolling flies for the great lakes. It seemed that when I would raise prices sales would boom! I could not understand it but did not complain.
I am interested in this piece as well, but alas I only collect coins at the $100,000+ price level. Perhaps when it is relisted?

As my bullion dealer says, when silver is $15oz he can't give it away, at $25oz people line up out of the door to but it. Makes no sense, but it's human nature.
Years ago ,when I was dealing in currency, I had a very rare National Bank Note. I was a vest pocket dealer and attended a lot of major shows. All of the currency dealers wanted the note but none of them wanted to pay my price. I put it on a price list, that I issued, and raised the price by 66%. I received 12 orders for the note!
It just takes 1 buyer with more money than brains. It may get to the Moon.
