Re: Bi-Metal error coin?

Thank you. I wanted to be sure the eye and closeup photos would upload before adding more photos. The irises are copper-amber with contrasting white metal in the eye field. Initially, I thought the bimetallic appearance was some type of painting/plating (I can't fathom why anyone would do)
when other anomalies stood out, eg: a circular ridge protrusion around the eye of the expected composition along with particular striations in the field I'd seen in prototype errors /rinse errors Mike Byers wrote about. I would attach a link to Mr Byer's however his listing of a Washington Quarter on a Sacagawea planchet, which exhibited the same type of grey-transparent veil-ray like striation running all over the field and devices, is no longer listed.Add to this, the reverse, exhibits textured feathers in what should otherwise be relatively smooth, such as the tail, secondaries and primary feathers.
While you might not like the answers you’ve received, clearly, the coin isn’t what you thought or hoped it was. Additional images and/or observations aren’t going to change that.

Re: PCGS Cert Verification update
I am not sure if it's related to the update, but I have noticed that the auction records no longer sort correctly. When I try to sort by date or grade it is jumbled together and not in order.
Re: Comic Art 24-Karat Gold Proof Coin – Superman™ Unofficial order thread
I am 100% not going to buy any of those.
Re: Comic Art 24-Karat Gold Proof Coin – Superman™ Unofficial order thread
No interest at all on my part.

Aftermarket starting to see sold pre-sales. Not too far over the retail though. In any news I believe this is good for the Sac coming out next week, almost $500 cheaper than this one.Is it? How many less than 5K will they be offering for sale? Is Sac really more popular than Superman?
I never understood why the Mint would have no Product Limit on these when they have a Mintage Limit. Usually it's the other way around.
Any sense on whether they might be holding 5K back here for inclusion in a 3 coin set? Any insight at all on why they would not release for sale everything that they want to sell?
I like Superman
Didnt really read the comics
watched the old Christopher reeve movies
liked the dean cain version
caught smallville from time to time
still watch the reruns w/ george reeves on saturday
Also... I never was a big fan of the Sacajawea dollar as a whole
Thought the Cherio Dollar 'pattern' was neat
read about the original dozen produced in gold, though that was neat (they went to space and back)
actually excited to see a public gold offering...
...sooo to me, a coin collector , the gold sacajawea dollar is more popular that this superman coin.
Re: Do you tip your LCS guy, or at a show?
The tipping mentality in this country is over the top and insane. It is not an entitlement.

Re: Is this toning Attractive? (New photos added from my Motorola Edge Phone)
To some, yes, to others, no.
I tend to lean towards no.
Just because something has "a lot of color" doesn't mean it's good.
I find the dimes in that set to be far more attractive than the halves.

Thank you, everyone, for the feedback. Please feel free to provide any specific thoughts on what you preferred about the older layout versus the new. This feedback is being shared directly with our team and will help us continue improving our services. We upgraded our cert verification page to prepare for an exciting upcoming announcement. I understand the new look may take some getting used to, but in the meantime, please keep the open dialogue coming!
Thanks Heather, I'm glad you guys are looking at this feedback. I have a few more suggestions.
For an example verification page with Trueviews like https://www.pcgs.com/cert/52659044 there should also be a link to https://www.pcgs.com/trueview/52659044 where we can download all of the images also.
I don't know why the NFC notice is so prominent and occupies the main focal area of the page. This information should be minimized and de-emphasized, in my opinion. I'm not saying the information isn't useful or important, but I'm not sure this message deserves top billing, and is more appropriately displayed as a footnote somewhere.
The PCGS Coin number should link to Coinfacts.

Are you ordering the Superman coin or medals tomorrow? Post your order experience or intentions here if you wish. I’m in for the gold coin and 2 1/2 oz version if I can get an order in! I predict a sellout of both issues. Pure speculation but soon the results will be known.
