Member jesbroken saw this post and asked if he could do soemthing, well here are the results. Very nice for him to do this for free. I love the look, I am going to crack them all out and stick them in the 7070 where they belong. NOT!!!

I will continue to be on the lookout for AU 58's with great eye appeal and nicely toned coins.

<< <i>Are you planning on mostly VF (or some other lower grade) for the earlier, more expensive coins? Or are you planning on getting a bigger piggy bank (winning the lottery or something else)? >>
We will see when that time comes. That is another reason why these are bought slabbed, and will be left slabbed.
It will be an expensive set when (if) completed, but for now I am just really enjoying it.
I am also taking donations!
I spent the cash on the 1837 half dime and the 1905 barber half.
OOOOOOO and don't forget the 1994 D Anacs Old holder dime.

That one to me is the only eye sore as I scroll though your set.

Well it is not very often you a modern au 58, so for $3.50 shipped I bought it as a joke.
The rest of the coins are all visually stunning.
1837 half dime and the 1883 no cents nickel
<< <i>Are these in a Registry set? >>
No, why?
Great set by the way... good luck continuing it!

Very nice, especially the Barber Dime and the SLQ!

Great pics too!
This is a lot of work, but it is fun to look at when the coins are all locked up in the safety deposit.
O well, enjoy, and I continue to re-photograph the coins that need done, and add the newest coins.

PCGS 1829 Bust Dime from Fishteeth. Au 58 of course.
Rhedden, you are being too kind. If it was me, I'd also insist that he send it to me insured at his expense

<< <i>Really nice set but think you can do much better in the IHC, perhaps it looks better than the pic. >>
Yes I can. It does look better than the pic. I need to polish up all the salbs and have one of the photo gurus from the forums shoot the whole collection. The other part of it is the IHC is part of my subset, 1861 Civil War Collection. I just have to get me a real eye appealing AU 58 IHC. But I have been trying to fry bigger fish, more expensive coins.
Jim
Thanks!
