Re: Okay Mercury People--How did I do? 1927 MS65FB
fcloud, Thats a nice strike on that 27, nice find! Now you realize that if you work this correctly, you've got red Fridays covered for 7 weeks! Yeah right. I picked up 2 from Mercury1, the 19-P 63FB and the 26-P 63FB. Don't think I'll be passing or anything, just maintaining! I'm about to start to get into that territory… -
Re: 1977 Star Wars PSA 10's
If anybody isn't overly attached to their PSA 10's and would be willing to sell them (along with a trade for a corresponding PSA 9) that would upgrade my set, please let me know and thanks much. Here's the list of 10's I need: 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 23, 27, 30, 36, 37, 38, 45, 47, 48, 53, 65, 70, 73, 99, 103, 110, 120,… -
Re: buffalo nickel die crack?
I noticed laminations like that to be very common in 1880s V nickels and 19-teens in Buffalo nickels. They also tend to be the most beat up when they have a lamination. As for added value, not really, they don't sell well in these conditions and with a "lower" type error on a lower grade, I think someone would just want… -
Re: The rarest and most unusual love token I have ever seen ...
Bill, I own an 1856-S over S Seated Quarter that was used as the host coin for a Love Token. aside from the choice of the coin is the fact that it had the carving on the obverse like yours, not typical at all. this is one of the peculiar things about the Hobby: the random choices that are made and result in the loss of… -
Re: Ebay's ccw no longer of help
<< <i>Just as one example of eBay new and improved policy, take a look at this listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1893-S-morgan-Silver-Dollar-/231247463956 This was reported by many on CU and by EMR's when the listing was active. It was also reported after the listing ended. The seller is a persistent seller of counterfeits… -

Re: Explanation of Full Torch and Full Band Roosevelt Dime designations from the major services
I posted these yesterday - but they seem appropriate today as well - it's the Full Band Pops and Full Torch Pops for PCGS and NGC. You'll note that the pops for NGC are much lower - I don't think it's because people aren't sending coins to NGC, I believe it's because of the tougher criteria: PCGS FULL BANDS BY YEAR/MM:… -
