Guys, I can't decide on what 1960's set to start. I am going to do it in the 7-8 range and wanted some wisdom before I start the set. I like 61,63,64,66 and 67. Any info on availability, cost, centering etc. would be welcomed. (BASEBALL) I have decided to start 1 set per decade and hopefully stick to this untill the sets… -

Re: Help me put a value estimate on this 1911 Caballito peso, please.
I think there were 17 votes when I finally went off to bed. The $30-35 bracket was in the majority with 5 votes at the time. I intended to end the poll when it hit 21 votes, but since I went off to beddy-bye and return to find 33 votes, I'm late. Interestingly, with 33 votes, there is now a tie between two categories.… -
Re: Gold Flash - Gold Rush

People preferring pre- 33 gold is personal preference, just like some people are not too keen on clad stuff 1965 and later. I like ASEs that have toned and are… -

I believe we all go through various iterations of this . . . . I did Morgans . . .got to top 50 on the Registry . . . sold. Did Commems . . got to top-20 . . . sold. Now doing older LOC and Oberwise Boards of traditional series . . . . down to just the 1918-17-D on my Buffs in VG-BU . . . and will probably part with that… -
Re: Will the rise in prices sustain? Is this the new floor, will there be a drop, or just the beginning
This too depends on what you're collecting and chasing. I've been chasing lower pop, better quality vintage for what feels like half a lifetime. Availability on the market is everything. Miss out on a mid grade '33 Ruth or Gehrig...you're waiting a long time to try it again. Sure, a certain % of chasers are out of the…
