Weight is based on raw book value, not rarity or total population. It is scaled based on the lowest book value and the highest book value. I understand the concept on rarer coins having higher weights but do they adjust these every so often to match the populations? or is it the populations in upper conditions? Rarity does not equal price or weight in Lincoln registry

pcgs weightings: how are the numbers(1-10) dtermined for the different registries?

OK, if a set has say 9 or 10 coins and all coins are weighted at 1 point ea and there is no mention of bonus points for PRCAM or PRDCAM would a PR69 coin get the same points as a PR69CAM and would a PR69DCAM get more points than the PR69CAM?
