i'd generally agree, with just a few changes. assuming the 5-point scale...

    #2 leseuer - 3.5 instead of 3
    #5 glass - 1.5 instead of 1
    #7 walsh - 3 instead of 2
    #14 dunderdale - 3.5 instead of 3
    #21 laviolette - 3 instead of 2
    #22 hern - 3.5 instead of 3
    #24 poulin - 1.5 instead of 1
    #26 l. patrick - 4.5 instead of 4
    #30 johnston - 3.5 (or 4) instead of 3
    #31 gaul - 1.5 instead of 1
    #33 marshall - 3 instead of 2
    #34 ridpath - 2 instead of 1
    #35 marshall - 3 instead of 2

maybe we should also get aro's input.

Hey guys! Good job on the rankings.
I agree with most of the rankings plus the changes. I would probably leave Gaul, Poulin and Glass at 1. The #1 card of Frank Patrick is the first hockey card ever printed and an almost impossible card to find in great condition. I would tend to make it a 5 based on those things but if you are going strictly by players I would agree.
  • So as amended ( I feel a little like Thomas Jefferson here )
here are the recommended player weights:

    1 Frank Patrick 4
    2 Percy Lesueur 3.5
    3 Gordon Roberts 3
    4 Barney Holden 1
    5 Pud Glass 1
    6 Edgar Dey 1
    7 Marty Walsh 3
    8 Art Ross 5
    9 Augus Campbell 2
    10 Harry Hyland 3
    11 Herb Clark 1
    12 Art Ross 5
    13 Ed Decary 1
    14 Tom Dunderdale 3.5
    15 Fred Taylor 5
    16 Joseph Cattarinigh 3
    17 Bruce Stuart 3
    18 Nick Bawlf 1
    19 Jim Jones 2
    20 Ernest Russell 3
    21 Jack Laviolette 3
    22 Riley Hern 3.5
    23 Didier Pitre 3
    24 Skinner Poulin 1
    25 Art Bernier 1
    26 Lester Patrick 4.5
    27 Fred Lake 1
    28 Paddy Moran 4
    29 C Toms 1
    30 Ernest Johnson 3.5
    31 Horace Gaul 1
    32 Harold McNamara 1
    33 Jack Marshall 3
    34 Bruce Ridpath 2
    35 Jack Marshall 3
    36 Newsy Lalonde 5

    Thanks for the help, guys.

actually, how 'bout a 2.5 for #16 cattarinich? he's in the hall of fame, but as a builder not a player.

  • I won't dis Big Joe Cat.
If he's a HOFER, that's good enough for me.
