Re: Link to that hard to find ebay shipping supplies coupon
For one to four coins if under $50.00 and 3 ounces or less I use Staples 6 X 9 brown kraft 24 lb envelopes. I print the "label" directly on the envelope and ship using the "eBay standard envelope". They opened a new distribution center in Palmetto Georgia in March with all new equipment that apparently no one knew how to… -
What are the 1-2 best coins you picked up so far in 2024?
These 2 for me: 1733 Mexico MO MF 1 real Took me 2 years to find a numerical grade with only 2 graded higher by NGC. The are various varieties of the 2nd year 1733 milled 1 reales and so far I own the 2 most ''common'' ones. Can't imagine how long it will take to find the 3rd rarest one or the others after that....maybe… -
Re: Post a sleeper date!

Then be placed in another separate 10 spot race, exclusively for the GOLD COIN! It took me several tries to even win, to make that… -
CoinFacts error - wrong capped bust half dime variety pictured
I saw an exchange from @MapsOnFire who has reported CoinFacts issues in the past and @HeatherBoyd where Heather advised that CoinFacts errors can be reported to @PCGS_Moderator. So, I'm gonna try that, since past outreach didn't land. Regarding the CoinFacts page for 1836 LM-1.1. The main coin, an AU58, is not an LM-1.1.… -

Re: A consolation prize 😉- Part 1 - "The first gold coin minted in California"
Yes and no. While they didn't alloy their gold, native California gold was only .880 to .887 fine, on average, and they lacked the necessary parting acids to refine the purity. While these coins were made to be about 1% heavier, in total, than their federal counterparts, they may have actually still turned out to be 1-2%…
