Re: Paypal Question
<< <i>Believe me it's worth the extra $'s for confirmation. >> Maybe, maybe not. I've sold about 3000 items over the past two years- none were shipped with DC. The only lost packages were international shipments, which don't allow for DC anyway. Accounting for combined items, that's probably around 1500 shipments- at 18… -

Re: Poll: Take a close look, do you like the Dolley Gold designs?
Durante-nose?!!! How many board members have to Google that one?!!!!!! lmao This will go good with Streisand-nose. Really, just how low will gold go? A few days ago I was skeptical of people who said $750, I was thinking $770-$780 myself. Now I don't know. This is setting up to be quite a correction. I picked up 4 TJ… -

Re: Opinions on graded cards
If you're collecting a set like 1989 Upper Deck, you'll find for the overwhelming majority of cards there is little difference in value between a 7 and a 10, and there is little interest in altering or counterfeiting. Unless you are competing in the set registry, few people will want more than ten or twenty cards graded.… -
Re: Jefferson Spouse coins came today - what to do?
<< <i>Send them sight unseen to PCGS for slabbing with First Strike? Or, would I be better off inspecting first to see if they have a shot at a 70 but foregoing the FS designation? Put another way, does the First Strike Designation have much impact on value? >> Depends.....I had a MS70 (no 1st strike designation) go for… -
Re: New lights, dang they're bright, (new pics, kinda big)
As I suspected, the quartz lighting is the absolute best for coin photography. I'm cheap though, and since I have an electronics background what I will probably do is build my own. As far as the D-70, the camera body with no lense will run you about $780 after the current $100 rebate. Be prepared though, by time you buy a… -
Re: 2006-W SAE's OGPs growing REALLY strong! $120+
Hi All, New member here getting back into coins after a little collecting as a kid. I can't help but notice the craziness over the 2006 SAE's. Saw a 2006-W NGC MS-69 go for $260 and a 20th anniversary set IGC, supposedly all 70's but you couldnt see the holders in the pic for $780 + $22 shipping. I also noticeed that most… -
Re: Heritage Shipping Rant-Update From Heritage!
I think that for a higher price I have to wait two to three weeks longer (at best) for the HA coin. And on top of the"rounding error", there is an extra $780 in buyer premium... Which should account for something? Shouldn't that higher buyers premium and the rounding error higher shipping offer a premium service? Not worse…
