Sure, if that's what you want to do. But that would encourage ordering, not shunning. TBD on the mintages of the final 2, but people building sets of medals will be pissed if they can't get the last 2. Plus, as you are implying, demand could end up being strong for the final 2, since they weren't done in 2016. OTOH, maybe… -
1913 T1 Buffalo 3 1/2 leg question.

Not sure i have this correct but... 1 in 150 boxes = 1 in 54000 packs. But I've heard rumors over the years it was actually 1 per 300 or more boxes as they just kept running the presses and that 100 of the 2500 were kept by those in UD or given out as "gifts' -

A fellow met with me today looking for further information on this Charlotte 1838 gold coin. What is likely market for this coin? I told him sending it to one of the top grading companies would be a first step. Do you think that getting the coin graded is essential for getting top dollar? -

Actually, the unc set has 2 coins. And most people don't really care about the silver. So it's really 1 vs 2, not 1 or 2 vs 9. The silver has intrinsic value, and that accounts for part of the price differential. And, 9 is not 8 times 1. But, no, the "value in this set" is really not "the 8 silver coins."
