Re: Updated my Peace $ set with pictures for all coins.
Thanks guys. Dimeman - I made them 500 pixels wide by about 680 or so (I think) tall. They are probably just a bit too big for your screen resolution (I assume you mean the bottom is cut off), and PCGS doesn't seem to have a way to scroll them. I could make them smaller, but they may lose some detail, and I was afraid to… -
Re: IS the market for Haag's finally falling apart - or - with mint cancellations, will new demand be cr
<< <i>Is the market for Haag's finally falling apart - or - with mint cancellations, will new demand be created? >> I think it's holding up very well considering that there are over 300 listings, including 96 PCGS graded listings now on the bay. PCGS graded 69's are selling in the $625 to $680 range. Let the flippers have… -
Re: 1909 MPL new die listing (updated)
<< <i> If you assume Obverse #1/Reverse #1 was used for August, that would be 1662 coins or 70% of the total. If you assume Obverse #2/Reverse #2 was used for the December production, that would be 680 coins or 30% of the total. Given the relative rarity of Obverse #2/Reverse #2, the above conclusions are within reason. >>… -
Re: international shipping and paypal
Hey Sugar, Using FedEX is no better than any form of trackable package thru the USPS in Paypal's eyes. I sent a card to a buyer in Italy via insured FedEX that the winning bidder personally signed for. 3 weeks later I get a chargeback notice from Paypal that they are "stealing" $680 from my account as the customer filed a… -
Re: How quickly do dealer-to-dealer newps make it to their cases for retail sales at a show?
I submit that it depends upon the mark up he wishes to put on the material and whether he believes there would be an awkward moment should you come back to the table an hour later and see your 500 dollar coin priced at 1150. Or more to the point if be would care to have you bring him more coins in the future. If telling… -
I need 4 high numbers to complete a 1970 Topps Set
This set is in low to mid grade. I am looking for raw cards around EX condition. I do not want to pay for high grade cards unless I can get them at a low to mid grade price, if you know what I mean! Star cards would probably be best around VG to VG-EX condition, depending on price. Here is my list. 634 Bud Harrelson 668… -

Re: why i'll pay $150 for a 2004-p peace nickel
If you found 3 out of 680 thats at least one 66 for each 230 minted. My guess is that with billions minted the population of 66s will increase greatly as time goes by and you should find one for a lot less than 150. Why would you want a graded one anyway. Just pick a nice one from the roll and forget all the wasted grading… -
