Re: 1913 Buffalo Nickel Crate
"..........yet so many of those that were made were BURNED for heat during the great depression." Hmmmm. Did the folks at the Denver Mint really need to burn packaging just to stay warm? I cannot believe that auction is at $780 with better than 2 days left. Gotta question? If these are touristy things, why aren't there… -
Re: Gold Freefall?
Since I have nothing to lose. I say the price of gold will be above $550 before the end of the year. And stay that way through the entire year of 2006. Gold will hit peaks of $820, then it will get pushed to $880. It will end the year 06 between $780 and $810. But definitely gold above $550 this year and very few days to… -

Re: Thoughts/Opinions on this eBay Buyers Demands After A Failed Cherry-pick. Update In OP.
Tell him you looked at your pictures, and you think he was right and the coin is the FS-901. Since he is so concerned about paying exactly what the guide says, you are sure he will… -

It looks around VG10 to me. No plug under the "E" in Liberty just a couple of scratches. I was thrilled to buy this coin for $780. I believe that was… -

Re: Last to go from your stash
Hey Trozau....Although the stated mintage on the 1990 plat 1oz is 1300, the actual mintage is believed to be somewhere around 780 pieces. To the best of my knowlege, a cert higher than that number has yet to be confirmed. Very similar to the 1995 gold proof. Stated mintage was something like 1500, but actual (which was… -
Re: GOTTA LOVE GOLD BULLION...
You may also want to look at MS63 certified Saints at roughly $780-$790. The premium you will pay over melt will be preserved and when gold runs higher the premium actually expands as more people scramble to buy them. Remember that quality tends to hold its value. Good luck and stock up on gold and silver while you can..... -
