I guess we're in the minority, but at spot, circulated gold sure is cool stuff. I have both eagles and double eages in VF -- they embody a heck of a lot more history than gold that is freshly minted!
I like circ. pre-33 gold a lot, especially very close to spot. Great time to buy.

I like circ pre '33 a lot too, 'specially the ones with the D or C on the back but I like the ones with the O on the back too. Probably a nice time to check out the Heritage auctions again and see if any of the week hands are getting spooked...BOOOO!
