I got some today for spot. And I don't even think ...that... was a special deal.

NO ONE is buying.

I guess we're in the minority, but at spot, circulated gold sure is cool stuff. I have both eagles and double eages in VF -- they embody a heck of a lot more history than gold that is freshly minted!

I'm not currently buying, but I'm a fan.

Problem free pre-1933 US circulated gold is always in demand at melt. For me the issue is finding any to buy.

    California. Sacramento.
But it's market PRICES that tell me there isn't much action.

    Silver some, but not gold.

People are selling because they think gold will tank further.... the lemmings always go the wrong way.. buy high, sell low. Cheers, RickO

If my local guy would sell closer to spot I'd be all over it, always ask. He's a bit high on his indians that I want.

I like circ. pre-33 gold a lot, especially very close to spot. Great time to buy.

I like circ pre '33 a lot too, 'specially the ones with the D or C on the back but I like the ones with the O on the back too. Probably a nice time to check out the Heritage auctions again and see if any of the week hands are getting spooked...BOOOO!
