Looks like a cast contemporary counterfeit.

That looks like a railroad track... Be carefull as sometimes the coin comes shooting off the track.
I actually have an ugly coin collection somewhere... But, I can not find the charger to my camera so no pictures for now
<< <i>It stopped a 5HP disposal and took me 20 minutes to retrieve.

<< <i>"Looks like a cast contemporary counterfeit." hmmmm.... what looks counterfeit about it ? >>
It has the very crude look of a counterfeit and the porosity looks similar to what you would see on a cast coin. It could be real but in that condition it would be difficult to authenticate. Have you weighed it?

Here's the one off my vest. The only Mint State Flyer I've ever owned.
Eh, whoops. There's just a tiny issue there. Think it's even worth mentioning?
That "moldy" steel cent is just tragic. And inside a slab, too. Our hosts' stomachs are probably churning.
<< <i>I must say, those steel cents are disgusting. >>
That's for sure....
What is that on there??? Interesting....
