Find a penny, pick it up.....

You all know the rest. Found this lying on the street while walking to pick the tots up from school. Just thought I'd share. Thanks

You've got a doubly sharp eye to not only pick up that penny but notice its VERY cool secret. Awesome!
Oh, and I for one don't find the "roadkill" aspect of that coin so heartbreaking. OK, so you were too late to save it, perhaps, but now it's unique and has a great story. You should cherish that one. It's kinda like the "Ice Cream" specimen of the 1894-S dime, which ended up in circulation. I'd rather have that circulated example than the finest known one.

I always pick up pennies on the street, but I've never been that lucky!

Coin Values has this at $170 in MS63RB.
Very cool find TPB.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.

What does it weigh.
<< <i>It has wear that would usually reveal the zinc core.
What does it weigh. >>
I don't have a scale, but using a pencil and a ruler, the weight matched a zinc lincoln.
