The next big thing... 30th Anniversary Silver Eagle set?

With all the talk on the boards about the 25th set I pose a question to the esteemed members here.
What's the next big thing from the mint? Is it the silver eagle annual sets that are proposed only? Is it the palladium eagles? 2012 burnished gold eagle maybe? Or do we have to wait five years for the already anticipated 30th anniversary set? I have my opinions but I'd love to hear yours!

<< <i>Based on a recent Mint survey, there is the possibility of limited-mintage annual sets of Silver Eagles. If this occurs, we won't be waiting five years for the next big thing. >>
This is what I was referring to when I stated the annual silver eagle sets.... but they are yet to be confirmed that they will be minted unless I missed something...

I think the "limited mintage" will be well over 100,000 since the mint got a lot of complaints from the 25th set.

Just do what I do... Read the mint sales reports *every* week and watch the numbers. Learn which series can be sold into 2013 and which will go dark at the end of the year. Study what happened in recent mint history and which lines have succeeded and which haven't lived up to the hype. Pay attention to the 2011 coins that they're still offering right now as once they go to back-order odds are they're done (eg. unc Eliza Johnson). Lastly if you haven't already you really should buy Eric Jordan's fantastic book on modern coins:

<< <i>I suspect we'll be getting a herd of stampeding buffalos in 2013 to commemorate the 100th anniversary. >>
I'm sure you're right...fractionals, an RP buff, a 3-coin set of silver, gold and platinum or palladium?
So that by then we'll already have 5,000 posts!

I agree. I would load up the truck (if I could get through on the phone

I wonder if they have to make it half the size and double thick to get the ultra high relief surface. Would be interesting if they did. Or maybe 3/4 the size. Kind of like a fractional ASE. Or better yet why not do a 4 piece fractional set.

maybe just a high relief, the 1921 Peace was not different in size as an example
<< <i>i heard that the mint was going to reissue the Morgan series in biz, proof and reverse proof struck from pure copper. >>
Hard to read sarcasm in text... but I assume this is dripping with it!
