Here are the only images I got of the coin before I submitted it to our hosts for grading. What do you guys think it'll grade? image

That coin talks alot................'er maybe it's the phone?

One of the better phone pics but still not great. Oh, XF40 would be close.

That's a spendioso coin in XF. There's such a small difference in wear between 35 and 40 that I'll be they "date grade" it a 35. If you get a 40, which is what I'm leaning towards, then congrats! That's a tough coin to find without problems.

Nice pick! The best I've found is VG... I say EF-40.

Thanks! I'm really hoping they give it that 40 for the eye appeal. It's a really nice pleasing coin. image I've previously found one other Micro s....in cleaned AG. image

    XF40 (and $1700-$2000) with a shot at 45.

You qualify for a YOU SUCK!! image
    When in doubt, don't.

That's got to be a 40. Too good for a 35. If they hit it with a 35 tag, it will be one of the nicest 35's ever. I think its a better than average 40 and that's where it belongs. A very, VERY, nice find. Congratulations!

I recently got back from PCGS a 1878 8TF 14.8 which I don't think has as much meat as your coin and it was returned as a xf45. Cert # 24068591. Hopefully you'll get the same graders. In my case there is probably not that much difference between a 40, and 45. Hard to pin down a value. Good Luck!!!

I have owned both an XF 40 and XF 45 1903 Micro S $1 in PCGS plastic. My 45 was purchased raw. I think the coin you have is a 40 shot 45. Any luster still left on the coin?

I think it is a definite XF40 with a shot at 45 if it has any remaining luster. Nice hair details on obv., lower leaf a little weak and good separation of neck feathers from breast.

    First- congrats

I cherry picked one years ago

This one is low to mid range 40- unless it looks significantly better in hand which is possible- not trying to be critical of the image. I would submit this one because it is a significant variety

A 35 one day and next time a 40. But let's hope it's in reverse order. image

It looks super nice in hand and has no marks or distractions. Great addition and nice pick there Coinkid. Look forward to the results.

    35. What are people looking at to get 40 or 45? Please look at the obverse hair and brow plus cheek, etc. Rims? Hmmm EF? IMO not.

I think our hosts will label it a VF35 and if so, it should garner a gold bean. Congrats on a very nice pickup
