Even more FUN show NEWPS, with another 2.1 AND a cherry! Big pics!

Firstly, I picked up a few nice toners...

Then I was lucky enough to get a cherrypick! I found a super nice 1903-S Micro S Morgan in VF-35 or so. I'm hoping it'll get a 40, but I'm not betting on it. Either way, I purchased it as a normal one, so I'll do well! I also bought this from the same dealer to fill a hole in my Morgan set!!

My best pickup of the day was also the last. I got this beautiful Antietam Commem in a rare NGC 2.1 slab for $20 BACK of bid!! So stoked!

Thanks for looking!

<< <i>20 back of bid? Wow, great pickup!
I don't believe it...no one would sell that coin in an old holder for back of bid...I want to see a receipt

<< <i>why do they call the NGC fattie slab a 2.1. That one has slipped by me.
Check out Conder101's NGC Slab Genearations Thread.
The 2.1 was evidenttly used immediately after the Black NGC Slab.

<< <i>That Antietam is awesome! Good job. Luv the 21 Morgan also. What is it graded?
Thanks!! It's raw, but it's a nice 63.

Nice job! Good to meet you at FUN.
No, I'm not a kool-aid drinker...just someone who started collecting commems buying NGC "deals". I do realize that the 2.1's were often graded tighter than newer ones. And I wish I had found these boards before I went through that phase.
