Dress warm if you're going to FUN

jhdflajhdfla Posts: 3,030 ✭✭✭
Once again arctic cold invades Florida right in time for FUN, lows forecast around 30 for Tuesday night. It moderates a bit later in the week. Of course if you're coming in from up north you'll already be dressed for it image

Yep, it seems we get a cold snap in time for FUN just about every year. I have to pick the oranges and tangerines today, and
get the sheets ready to cover the sensitive plants.
Seems like only yesterday it was sunny and near 80 deg - image

I was at Universal yesterday (Jaws is closing forever today image) and I'm pretty sure it was at least 80 at one point image. It's going to be quite cold for the next few days, but it looks like we'll be warming up by the weekend with a high of 75 on Saturday image.

and you have the nicest legs by default with those cast of characters. I've seen Todd recently wearing shorts in the frozen tundra so I know this Florida cold snap won't stop him. He may even break out the short shorts for FUN. MJ

You're talking about a room filled with oodles of coin dealers so I'm sure it will be stuffy to say the least image

With all those hot deals going on, or at least lots of hot air being spewn, it's sure to warm inside the center.

It probably won't be as cold as it has been for the past two years. Last year we set records for cold, and it killed a lot of plants in my yard .image The year before there was record broken for the most consecutive days that the high temperature did not reach 60 degrees. image

the lowest temp in the forecast that I can see says 37 degrees on Wednesday. I consider that balmy in January.

Two years ago I remember driving back to SC and it was snowing! I even had to break the ice off my wipers when I stopped for gas!

It's been awesome weather here in Saint Petersburg. This morning was a little chilly and we'll have to cover the orchids for tomorrow.

Just checked the Weather Channel web site - the highs in Orlando for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are supposed to be 68, 71, and 74. That doesn't sound so bad.

My FUN table mates claimed to be freezing their butts off at Downtown Disney last night. It's chilly for Florida but it's not that cold.

At the last inute, I brought my Baltimore winter coat, scarf and gloves with me, and I can say that they came in very handy when I got outside the airport terminal!! (Yes, i'm a SoCal gal through and through!)

Now I'm sitting here all warm and comfy on our condo couch watching The Life of Brian (a Monty Python film), sipping a glass of Sterling cab, so I'm quite the happy camper! Looking forward to setting up at the show tomorrow!!!

Had to return home about 100 miles south of O town after lot viewing Monday evening because of some family drama with my 20 yr old. Hoping to get back up there tomorrow, but they are calling now for a hard freeze tonight in the 20's here, and daytimes tomorrow under 60. Should moderate as they say by the end of the week, but I was just outside smoking a cigar and let me tell you, it's COLD...
