My first coinstar find.....

This wasnt in the reject bin, but was actually sitting by the top tray. As I approached I was expecting some foreign coin. When I picked it up, I was both shocked as to what it was.....and saddened about the state it was in. But in any case, she is in a good home now.

I am glad the person that had it didn't just throw it out. I have found whole handfuls of "rejected" coins in the trash bin right next to the coin counting machines at the bank - seriously.

Wow... that one had a tough time.. neat find though. After years of checking Coinstar reject slots, I finally found something... a Canadian dime, and no, not silver. Oh well, it is a start... Cheers, RickO

the other day the machine at my bank had 24 wheat cents in the reject tray. they were a range from 1930 to 1942 with a 1919 thrown in.

I have often seen pre 1943 wheats in the reject slot what is different about them that makes them get rejected?
