From the 90% bin, big price spread between VG and F, what say you? Looks 12 to me from PCGS photgrade.

Wow i'd like to find a 90% bin with dates like that. I would say atleast 12 it has lots of detail in all the right places so mabye even 15 and bordering on 20.

At first blush I said VG-10, but then after looking at the ANA Grading Guide, I'm leaning toward 12. The trouble is, if this is a raw coin, you are taking a chance if you pay Fine money because you are giving the seller the benefit of the doubt. The Gray Sheet bid numbers are $165 for VG and $255 for Fine. The coin is closer to Fine than to VG-07, so from a Gray Sheet perspective paying $200 (for high wholesale) would not be a bad move.

OOPS! Didn't look for the "S." New numbers VG $165, Fine $620.

Bear in mind that in the Mint State arena, the grading services get conservative where there are large differences from one grade to the next higher grade. I've not handled very many key date circulated coins, but you could be facing that here.

I think it is ever so slightly stronger than the old ANACs holdered '21S F12 that lordmarcovan posted last week. I called that coin a VG10, based on the rev details, but was in the minority - but what do I know....
To add, I think BillJones reported Graysheet numbers for a 21P half. The 21S values are substantially lower.
