I did a deal today for a large lot of older poured bars. Engelhard and JM. He had 3 older 100 OZ poured JM bars but I ran out of funds. Sunday can't come soon enough.
I actually ended up selling both. Sold the gold at 1750 and the silver at 35. Today I bought all the silver back but now in smaller bars and at $2 less an oz.
I will be selling more in the spring for the house project - new roof with lots of copper work.
tydye pictures will be mandatory. I'm feeling your joy!
I tried my hardest to buy old pour bars last weekend and I struck out mightily. Congrat's............MJ

I now can see why your tongue was wagging this last week. Very nice newps! Wish that seller would've been in my area throwin out stuff like that. How many oz's is that Keller bar? I'm debating a 25 oz'er made by them. The 3 1000 grain bars is definitely the score of the whole deal imo.

I lost track... did you end up selling silver or gold when you were debating a few weeks back?

Ah. No wonder you're excited about the deal...
I'll be hoping silver hits an all time high in the spring. (Then you can get the roof fixed and still keep a stack!)
Can't wait to see pictures of both.

I even got 2 more a-mark bars to add to my collection.
The 1000 gram bars were told to me to be 100 gram bars initially. Got to say I like them

I require 3 things on my silver bar. I like it marked silver or Ag, its fineness and a makers mark. I prefer when the weight is on it as well.
Not to mention the 1000 gram bars, too!

The bars are European. They use the metric system over there not the imperial system. gr stands for gram in this case
