I did a deal today for a large lot of older poured bars. Engelhard and JM. He had 3 older 100 OZ poured JM bars but I ran out of funds. Sunday can't come soon enough.

I lost track... did you end up selling silver or gold when you were debating a few weeks back?

I actually ended up selling both. Sold the gold at 1750 and the silver at 35. Today I bought all the silver back but now in smaller bars and at $2 less an oz.

I will be selling more in the spring for the house project - new roof with lots of copper work.

Ah. No wonder you're excited about the deal...

I'll be hoping silver hits an all time high in the spring. (Then you can get the roof fixed and still keep a stack!) image

Congrats! Copper roofs are almost as cool silver bars.
Can't wait to see pictures of both.

I just got home - had to work after I picked the stuff up. Here is what I got.

I even got 2 more a-mark bars to add to my collection.

The 1000 gram bars were told to me to be 100 gram bars initially. Got to say I like them

Thanks everyone! I am pretty excited about this purchase. Anyone know anything about the 2 bars in the top right corner?

The one in the upper right looks like an old pour Silvertowne (minus the name, of course).

I now can see why your tongue was wagging this last week. Very nice newps! Wish that seller would've been in my area throwin out stuff like that.
How many oz's is that Keller bar? I'm debating a 25 oz'er made by them.
The 3 1000 grain bars is definitely the score of the whole deal imo.

The Keller bar is 2 oz. I know nothing about the maker. I like the look of the bar.

I require 3 things on my silver bar. I like it marked silver or Ag, its fineness and a makers mark. I prefer when the weight is on it as well.

The bars are European. They use the metric system over there not the imperial system. gr stands for gram in this case
