1861 CSA Cent, Original, the XF Specimen that is assumed to have been the pocket piece that Lovett spent in a bar.

<< <i>I am too much of a collector to settle for just two.... I like variety, so dabble in many different coins...Cheers, RickO >>
Yeah, I kinda feel the same way. Now, I wouldn't mind owning those two coins, along with a whole bunch of other stuff! That Brasher Doubloon too!
I give away money. I collect money.

At that point I'm no longer collecting and would just opt to enjoy the hobby via my library.

Mixing copper or silver coins with rubber bands is not a good idea.

For example, in the past 3 months I pulled out a few Roman ancient coins for a classroom presentation,
a 4 piece set of shipwreck Spanish silver coins to show a friend, a gold $10 to offer as trade bait (didn't work
out, so it went back the next day), and a partial set of wheat cents in a blue folder as a gift to a nephew.
As a collector, I love to be able to locate these types of coins -- being able to hand someone a 2000 year
old coin and watch them handle it is priceless!
If you can't get the song out of your head all afternoon, blame MLC for the question.

You are of course correct
It just sounded better than a piece of string
