Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

<< <i>it really is a stunning set, but tell you what, the RP is by far the cleanup hitter in that lineup. there's a reason they put it in the middle slot. without the RP the sets would have minimal appreciation. enough glitz to bring in the casual or novice collector! >>
The RP is a key, but also remember the "S" mint unc in the batting order after the RP. The rest of the coins are common, but it sure makes a nice display with the different types.
The material is also real solid, and I like that its not fake woodgrain. It has a modern, yet classy look.
I also like the way the coin capsules fit into the slots.

I completely agree with you. I am glad I opened my single set. Remaining will to PCGS on Monday.
<< <i>...it looks like the same box will fit the graded coins from PCGS! >>
Thanks to the OP for the great photos!
And yes, a PCGS graded set will fit nicely in the OGP.
The first seller to get a PCGS 70 set on eBay should do well.

<< <i>I must admit that that reverse proof sure looks compelling. >>
I was thinking the same thing. Freaky looking, but it kind of grows on you. I shoulda bought one!
Just sayin' GrandAm
P.S. I think this has alot to do with the .999 fine alloy as I have many .900 fine Modern Commemoratives and NONE of them develop Milk Spots.
I use to have (2) raw sets of Silver Eagles that I was putting together for my sons. Every year when I got the new coins I would get the albulm out to add the new coins and find another 2 or 3 coins with Milk Spots that were not there the previous year. After a few years I said the heck with it a sold the sets. I even had each Eagle in a KoinTain tight fit capasule and still got Milk Spots. Too bad they are such beautifully designed coins but the risk of spots is too great to suit me.

My W and none already have
It's nice to see somebody actually enjoying the coins rather that the potential of making a profit. One could say that it's ... now, what's that word ... oh yeah, numismatic.

Do you live in a high humidity area. I have hundreds of silver eagles and have had no milk spots at all.
I live in New Mexico which has very low humidity,
I too like the fact that the wooden box will accomodate the entire set slabbed!

Same here in Colorado, never had a coin spot but most of mine are raw as well...
The Mint says it's form the annealing process where water was left on the surface to dry...
Maybe they figured out how to dry them by now..."-)
